The bed was infested with FLEAS. I started waking up with bug bites and on my second to last night around midnight, I got 15 bites on my feet after sitting on the bed for 15 minutes. Once I realized my room was infested I went to the front desk and had them switch my room. They were even hesitant to do that - I had to put my foot on the counter and show them my bug bites. When I checked out a day later, I asked them to refund me at least the night that I had to switch rooms as I had stayed up checking both rooms for mosquitos, bed bugs, fleas, etc. They refused. It is customary to offer refunds due to bug infestations but they said I should’ve resolved the problem the second it happened (at midnight??) and they wouldn’t refund me anyway.
The morning I checked out, I had put an outfit on the table before packing up. It was completely covered in ANTS. At least 40-50 ants crawling all over my clothes and backpack. I had to leave my clothes behind as I didn’t want to risk not removing all the ants and contaminating my luggage. Again the front desk didn’t care and said it was normal.
This hotel is not clean and infested with BUGS. They do not care about your experience or properly fixing any problems you bring up as a guest. Horrible, traumatizing stay.

Reception staff were rude, unfriendly, and completely unhelpful. They also barely spoke English.
I booked a non-refundable stay for my family member through Booking.com and paid for the room online in full, exactly as the booking process required. The reservation was made in my family member’s name.
When she arrived at the hotel on August 22, 2026, the reception staff refused to check her in because she did not have my credit card with her. Of course she did not have it — I had already paid online, and the reservation was in her name.
What was especially unacceptable was the attitude of the reception staff. They made no real effort to find a solution or help resolve the situation, despite the room already being fully paid for. As a result, my family member was essentially forced to leave the hotel in the middle of the night and find another place to stay.
A paid reservation should not result in a guest being left without accommodation because of a credit card that was already used for an online payment. Even if the hotel has a specific card-verification policy, it should be communicated clearly in advance (before I paid non refundable rate), and the staff should make a reasonable effort to help the guest resolve the issue.
Extremely disappointing experience and very poor customer service.

Location is great very close to the beach. But it is a tired hotel. only one elevator was working and living on the 7th floor getting by stairs was not an option.
Breakfast had very little healthy choices. I managed to get some eggs and bread. I would suggest going out for breakfast then eating it there. Lots of dairy and meat. The hotel looks tired, only one elevator was working. and the ocean view is few blocks over residential and other hotels roofs. still a nice view though.

Great location. Would recommend the place as good value for the price. The breakfast was open until 11am and checkout was 12pm. We had great front desk service and they graciously held our luggage after checkout so that we could explore the city a bit more. The beaches and many restaurants are easily walkable from the hotel. There is also a rooftop pool which was a fun treat.

Hotel is a walking distance to Copacabana Beach and the Ipanema market. I had breakfast the whole morning I was there because I enjoyed the breakfast. They had fruits and different kinds of breads. Only thing I would add to the breakfast menu is vegetables.

The location is fantastic and just a short walk to the beaches. Newly renovated bathroom, and a moderate-sized room.
The property facilities are outdated and need maintenance, breakfast options are limited, and the room's AC unit was leaking water.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing and great for exploring. My room was very clean and comfortable, which made the stay highly enjoyable.
The check-in staff weren't the nicest or most patient with questions, likely due to a high volume of guests arriving, though they were much friendlier at checkout. Additionally, the breakfast lacked protein and focused mostly on sugar and fruits, which might just be a local preference but wasn't ideal for me.
