The hotel staff were friendly and the facilities and room were good for the price.
Our room was on the 7th floor. The lift goes as far as the 6th floor and we needed to climb stairs to the 7th floor.

Location was poor and unsafe , building work was carrying on and no one advised us . As a result you were unable to enjoy .

I'm sad to say it was a bad experience. Location terrible, homeless sleeping & peeing every 5m = terrible smell on the streets. We booked 2 rooms, it was confirmed we'd be staying side-by-side, but in the end we were put on different floors... Rooms were quite dirty and old, walls & furniture damaged. 1 of the bed sheets had brown stains!! Shower cabin old, with hairs & flies, black moll/stuff on corners & junctions, water was flowing slow!!! 1 of the rooms had 2 ACs, whereas the other only 1. There was no gym, nor spa. It is under construction/renovation, even though when booking it says there are. From other reviews, seems this has been ongoing for months. 1 day electricity went off in the morning and didn't come back until late in the night!!! My sister-in-law was trapped in the elevator with her baby for a while, we've been all day using the stairs up/down 5 floors. In the night, we had no battery left on our phones and they didn't propose or made much effort to offer a solution; while they were having electricity in some parts of the building (reception, for instance). They really showed no concern or cared about our well-being, nor did they send any letter or explanation the day after... I tried to talk to them several times, in a very friendly and polite manner, no solution ever. They didn't care about any of the incidents, nor followed-up. No initiative or proactive attitude to make our stay better. (from conversations I overheard, other guests complained also) Avoid room 505. Even better, avoid this hotel..

The guys from the reception desk were very kind and helpful
The location was very disappointing... we didnt feel safe to go out walking. We had to take Uber or taxi every time we wanted to go out.

Breakfast was really good, lots of food options, no options for coffee though (no lattes or espressos or anything like that). Price was cheap. Air conditioning, safe and wi-fi worked really well.
Shower had no pressure whatsoever, it took me forever to wash my hair and remove sand from my body after a day at the beach. Neighborhood was clearly dangerous, I didn't dare leave the hotel without a car. They charge R$15 for a blanket. I only had a sheet on top of my bed and a small blankie. Elevator was slow and walls thin so you could hear people talk on the hallways. There were flies in the shower area.

They accepted same day booking. Met my needs as my flight was late in the evening and needed a place to rest. The hotel is waking distance to tourist attractions, but the area itself isnt the best.
I was given a room that was on the 7th floor. No direct elevator. I had to walk up a few flights of stairs. The hotel is dated, needs updating.

Room where very spacious and clean. Bed was big and comfy.. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.
our room was not reachable via elevator. We had to go one floor extra over stairs. The air con was very loud and also not really a air con more a ventilator. The sheets on the bed where too small and therefore we where lying on the mattress itself ( as the sheets where leaving its place).. what was not so nice. Also the mattress was covered with a sort of plastic cover, what was very unpleasant with 30 degrees and a not very cooling air con.
