Very Good
Hotel's location is very good, even though it is at the very extreme of the Copacabana beach. Safe neighborhood, walking distance to several pharmacies and mini-markets. Strong recommendation to book "luxury plus" rooms, because they offer a beautiful view of Copacabana, and even have a small terrace. Staff was very helpful with providing restaurant recommendations, as well as arranging tickets for a football match at Maracana (foreign credit cards unacceptable for online purchases).
We didn't even think of using the swimming pool, but were still disappointed with its size. It looks like a little over-sized bathtub. Breakfast was OKish, but not very varied and with surprisingly bad coffee. At check-in we were given a room different than the one we booked (luxury plus), which was strange because the booking was paid well in advance and we mentioned it at the reception. Luckily, after a brief conversation the issue was resolved and a formal apology was sent by email.

The bathroom shower was licking and the vent cover follow over my husband head. Lovely place but seams not to be well-maintained!

Great Leme location, friendly staff. Rooftop staff in particular are exceptional.
Mosquitoes in the room and dining area. Sauna really doesn’t work well enough to be functional in the winter.

Location, location, location. It’s was a bang for your buck with clean rooms, ocean view and a decent rooftop

Friendly staff, good location tooftop view awesome. Traffic at the junction in front of the hotel is horrible, need better traffic control. Need a desk in the room in case someone needs to use a computer.
Breakfast could be improved by including more choices.

Food was good. Location was excellent. Some of the staff members, like Gustavo, were great.
Nevertheless, there was a gentleman named Fernando at the front desk. He asked about my passports after 3 days being there, and He was aggressive. The day before I left, I asked him to wake me up at 3:00 AM. However, for some reason, the driver of the taxi I reserved through Booking.com arrived at the hotel before 2 AM and asked this gentleman to call me, even though I had included in my reservation to be there around 3:20 AM. So we had a terrible night, and my impression of the hotel went from 5 to 0. How this guy decided the driver is more essential than the guest, and called me at that hour. Hope that if I choose to be there again, He will not be there.

The location is great.
This is a 3 star by European standards. For 180€ per night I didnt find it value for money. Also booking indicated that I was upgraded to a better room. Apart from the view and a good bed there was nothing great about my room. Reminded me of a miserable ibis hotel..

Wonderful
The room was excellent. The view was wonderful. The personal was always very kind and helpful for every request we made. The hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect to be close to Copacabana and, at the same time, in a more quiet and genuine local atmosphere.
The breakfast lacked a couple of details just like spreadable cheese, the fruit was not really tasteful, and the place for the breakfast was a bit overcrowded.

Everything was perfect, very clean rooms, nice and helpful staff. The location is great - beautiful and safe area next to the ocean, it was amazing. And the view from the rooftop is stunning. Swimming pool is small but it was enough. Breakfast was so delicious and they offered a wide range of choices. Generally - very high recommendation.
