The location was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel was close to everything I needed, and I loved the great view. Breakfast also had a nice variety of options.
The gym was very small, but it did have everything we needed for our workout.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Stay at Arena Copacabana Hotel!
I had a wonderful stay at Arena Copacabana Hotel in Rio! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish.
A special shout-out to Jailton, the bartender, who provided exceptional service. He was friendly, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable. His hospitality truly stood out!
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Arena Copacabana Hotel to anyone visiting Rio. I would happily stay here again! ???⭐

The location is perfect, just in front of Copacabana Beach. The breakfast is great, it has so many delicious options. The room was beautiful, the best ocean view. The staff is really kind and are always there for you.
There was mold deep inside the closet in the low drawers. It wasn't a problem for me (as I didn't use those drawers), but it should be cleaned.

Excellent treatment provided by the staff in all moments. Always very friendly and with a smile on the face. The security staff by the main entrance is also very professional and polite at all times (24/7).
Due to the season chosen for our visit, the breakfast area was always very busy. Even though, the staff did not allow any food/item to be missed. They were always working hard to serve everyone at all times, until the last minute.

The hotel's location was ideal for a stay in Copacabana and to act as a gateway towards other destinations and day trips. The breakfast was also adequate, although European buffets are much richer and varied. The staff was also very friendly.
The most prominent problem was the fact that - even in a pricier room - the walls were paper-thin. Neighbouring rooms are literally connected via a (constantly locked) door, so you can hear discussions from other rooms as if you are a part of them - a huge issue if you're a light sleeper or if you're unfortunate enough to have inconsiderate neighbours who wanna have loud conversations at 3:00 AM. In addition, every now and then a very oily smell would come into the rooms, possibly due to some type of connection of the kitchen's ventilation system to the ACs (or something else). The furniture and overall decoration was quite outdated and a bit damaged here and there, although I did not consider this in my overall evaluation.

Staff were very helpful. We had something break in the bathroom and it was fixed very quickly and professionally. Josecito at the front desk was super. Very welcoming and made the check-in process easy.
Pool is small.. but it is a rooftop pool (and the pictures don't deceive.) Just don't plan on doing laps. view is fantastic. Bit loud? But again- its Rio on the beach, this isn't really a complaint but something to keep in mind. My experience- a bit loud.. yours could easily be "lively and energetic" just be aware that this is a busy area. Be careful on the beach - (this isn't about the hotel) - as I did encounter glass and some sharp plastic. The city does a reasonable job, but it is a huge beach with thousands of people.

We stayed 2 nights, so we chose for the room with a view - I would recommend it! Waking up with beautiful ocean view with the sunrise colors. Excellent location; Friendly staff; Excellent breakfast; The room was quiet even though it was right in front of busy Copacabana. They also storage our luggage after check-out time.
