The staff was friendly and the location is really good. The bed was confy.
No drinking water in the rooms, the bathroom was smelly and the shower curtains don't prevent the water to leak to the entire bathroom.

We had a beautiful view of Sugar Loaf and the Cristo from our balcony in room 901. The Museum of Modern Art is within easy walking distance.
There weren't any nice restaurants or markets within walking distance to the hotel, except for the wonderful cantina at the Museum.

Great location! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room has a great view, comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. I highly recommend pay for the breakfast- a lot of options to eat and delicious food.

Ok breakfast…did not dare leave the hotel for dinner…area looked dangerous.
Hotel restaurant could have served something simple…did not eat dinner….too afraid to leave the room.

Can walk to the airport. Stuffs were helpful.
The neighborhood is quite ran down and can hardly find restaurant and grocery.

The room was clean and quiet, WIFI works very well! the location was in down town as I wanted
The staffs don't speak very well English!, they don't help customer very well! my room was beside of the run-down building and I felt that room was in a dengerous locasion because it was next to a dilapidated building and anyone could easily enter thea room through the window and when I asked the reception to change my room they didn't care unfortunately and I was there only two night so I didn't insist after two times my request (which they didn't care)

The breakfast was good, the store at the reception was a good feature.
I had problems with cards to access my room, It happened twice and this was awful, me and my wife lost time going to the room and then going back to the reception. Also the towels were very rough. I couldn't stream to the TV from my phone because I couldn't find the TV's name even when I knew both were connected to the same network. I could listen to every sound from the next room, I hate it because you can listen to how others snore.

Comfortable Modern clean Hotel. Loved the breakfast. Good value for money. I visited during the Rio Carnival and a few events were around the area where the hotel was located. It was closer to the airport. Bit further away from the beach. BUT uber is very cheap. Cost me £4-5 to get to Ipanema. Neighbourhood doesn’t look that unsafe compared to some of the reviews I had read before going on holiday. Some of the blocos were around the hotel and it was safe. Having said that I took Ubers to the beach everyday as it was very cheap.

Too shocked by the dirt to see anything positive.
Dirty, dirty, dirty. Toilets were dirty when we are arrived. Room cleaning was only done on the third day !!! We needed to ask for it. Sheets don't seem to be changed very often.
Very bad smell coming from the drainage hole in the bathroom.
No courtesy coffee or water.

Breakfast was decent. Location was close to the airport and nearest Metro station. Walkable distance to the beach.
Check-in was mediocre. Didn't bother to inform about wifi and breakfast as well as payment.
Pillow was shockingly bad. Gave me shoulder pain for two days.
