Decorated Rooms , clean and safe. Breakfast was excellent , location was perfect to the mall and shopping they have excellent staff , they offer to takes your luggage to your room if you want

Location
the breakfast is terrible. The hotel's renovations are horrible and the stairs make noise when people step on them and bother those in the room. The bedroom has no closets, the bathroom has no privacy. Bad smell in the hallway. The photos don't match.

The location is great, near botafogo metro station! Very convenient especially during carnaval. The hotel was really safe and the staff extremely friendly. My room was perfect for the two weeks I spent in Rio, comfortable desk and fast internet for teleworking. The room was very clean and breakfast was a plus. Like any other neighborhood in Rio, you have to be careful at night..but it was nice to walk/bike near the bay front with views of the Sugar Loaf. Overall a good value!
It would be nice to have more options for vegetarian breakfast

The location close to ths metro was nice and the staff were friendly.
A few remarks:
1. Room and bathroom are very small and cramped
2. There is no natural light or air entering the room and therefore a damp smell lingers in the room constantly
3. The shower door could not close or stay closed
4. Shower water was cold and you are unable to change the water temperature
5. The bedding and towels are old. Especially the towels they provide are in a bad condition and stained. The mattress is old and sloped inwards, making it uncomfortable if two people sharing are the room.
6. The toilet seat is very close to the wall. You are basically unable to sit down without your knees hitting the wall infront of you.
We can mention that the staff is friendly and the location is close to a metro station but barring this, would not recommend this hotel.

this hotel is pathetic please don't go there it is like a HORROR movie.
i did not like anything at all, everything was very very bad.

It was a spacious room and a big fridge. The hot water was super hot The location was perfect.
They don't have a lift. In the room there was only 1 cup and plate. It also does not make sense that there is no kettle in the room when there is a kitchen?.
