The location was great and breakfast had a good range of options including vegetarian. My room had a balcony and the sea view ad sea breezes were very nice. I would stay there again if I returned to Fortaleza! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean.
There were no spoons provided in the kitchenette, only 2 forks and 2 knives. I asked at reception if I could get a spoon and I was told a maid would bring it but that didn't happen. I had to eat yoghurt with a fork!

The location is excellent.
Everything else is terrible. This hotel should be avoided at all costs especially if you are a foreign visitor to Fortaleza. It appears the staff require immediate training in customer service. The staff seem to view foreign visitors as a quick way to make a buck. They will try and charge for everything even for water and breakfast although breakfast is included. They were very unprofessional and will spoil your vacation or stay in Fortaleza. The worst part is that they didn't even provide a blanket. The only hotel or accommodation I have experienced in many countries not to provide a blanket, duvet, or cover for the bed.. The staff are rude, argumentative, and in my opinion shouldn't be working in the hospitality sector.
