Very Good
Very clean, very comfortable, the decor is a relaxing and homy feel.
One member of the staff Fabio is exceptional, he speak English and Portuguese, helpful, suggesting us some things to see and do. All with a smile all the time and a dynamism, attentive.
And the Breakfast of Cecilia! Fabulous!
And our kind, Chris at the Bar, just perfect!
We highly recommend this place.

We loved staying at Solar Beach Hotel! The staff was super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We especially loved Fabio who from the minute we checked in made us feel like home! Fabio went above and beyond to orient us to the property and advise us on the activities/events during Carnaval. He gave us 5 star treatment. Jessica was also wonderful and kind. The breakfast was great with our favorite being the omelet! We had dinner one night and it was very special with a live band playing with a beautiful ambiance. Chris the bartender was also very friendly and made great drinks! The dinner was delicious and highly recommend the petit Gateau for dessert...DIVINE. One day I told Fabio about the delicious cake we ate from the night before and he had it ordered to be served at breakfast! We thought that was so thoughtful. We highly recommend this hidden gem which is located right on the beach and also provide beach chairs, umbrellas and towels which you do have to carry just a few minutes. Rooms and bathrooms were meticulously cleaned each day and we don't have any negative comments to make. We will definitely be back again!

The hotel was beautifully decorated & comfortable. The amenities such as breakfast, the bar, pool, and spa were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but think that the breakfast hours could be extended. Additionally, the water pressure of the sink in our room was quite low.

It was friendly, cozy, and clean. The staff were very helpful. They even negotiated for us the price with a driver to take us around the island. The breakfast was nice. Needed to have more fresh vegetables though.

Staff was helpful and went out of their way to make suggestions for dining and making the most of the short stay.
First night we had to purchase another room as there was only one bed in my room. It was fixed the next two nights but an unexpected expense.

The hotel is amazing! Clean and well located is an amazing alternative for families. You can move around the island very easily. The staff can’t be more accommodating, always there for you and ready to help you with anything you might need. They really make you feel at home away from home. Note that the breakfast is awesome!! Fresh every morning waiting for you, and the bar right besides the pool serves very good cocktails!! We would go back for sure!!

While I cannot say Canasvieiras is the best beach in Florianopolis… (I think Praia Mole takes the top spot), this is among the best lodging options you can find on the island.
Delightfully styled rooms… all with a unique and thoughtful touch. Beautiful Portuguese architecture. Excellent breakfast. Jacuzzi or bath tub in most rooms. Thick towels. AND MAKE SURE you get a massage at the hotel. Excellent price and one of the best massages of my life.
The service was top notch but Fábio especially went out of his way to make sure we truly had a special experience.

The leisure facilities are very nice, the staff very good and helpful. Very near a good beach.
