Location, amenities and the amazing staff.
The only thing that I didn’t like is that the place is not super new and it’s quite expensive, but is cozy, staff is amazing and the location is great.

Good breakfast and excellent location. Staff was very friendly.
1. Water really did not get hot, more like slightly warm. During summer this is probably ok, but during winter it was kind of an inconvenience. We were only there for 2 nights so not a big deal.
2. Wifi connection was weak - if you're planning to work here, you'll need to work closer to the router in the common area.

I visited here for leisure with my girlfriend. We stayed for 5 nights in an upstairs apartment with a balcony and hammock overlooking the street. The apartment had 2 floors with wooden stairs to the bedroom upstairs.
I don't speak Portuguese, my partner does. The room was big and spacious, there was a variety of cold beverages ready for us in the fridge when we arrived - I appreciated that as it was so hot! [If you drink them, you pay on departure] The bed mattress was really soft and comfy. We didn't use the TV. The AC in the apartment was wonderful! I could not survive without it.
The beach is only around the corner a few minutes away. Restaurants and supermarkets are a 5 min walk away. There is a good selection to choose from.
The breakfast every morning was really tasty, with a good mix of fruit, juices, cold meats, cheeses, breads, coffee, everything you would need! Plenty of tables to choose from and sit. The staff were always on hand, helpful and good natured.
We arrived to Floripa, late at night on a flight, at about 00:30 and arrived by Taxi, I was worried we wouldn't get in and would be left on the street but reception was open for us and there was a nice man to show us around and explain everything to my partner and myself ,even though so late at night. I was impressed with that. ha. Overall, it was a great positive experience. For me, drinking out of a coconut on the beach was fantastic. the sun is super powerful, I got burnt like a shrimp in 10 mins :)
Overall if was really fab and nothing to complain about :), If I had to point out some negatives, it would be The shower was not very powerful, weak flow. In the apartment, be careful of the wooden stairs, it can be dangerous going up and down those stairs as it is so steep! we did not have any accidnets though :)
