Good location. Lots of comfortable seating areas and a good breakfast. Friendly staff.
The wiring of the shower caught fire while I was using it, which was a little disappointing. Staff were very quick to move us into another room though, and did apologise profusely.

The staff here are the warmest, kindest and most welcoming people. They were so patient with me and my limited Portuguese. Location is good to walk to the dunes, lake and beaches.

It is a 10-to-20-minute walk from the supermarket, cafes, restaurant, the lake, and the Joaquina beach. The property impresses with its inspiring artsy decorations, a beautiful dining area (+ good breakfast) and a relaxing lounge area with some semi-panoramic views. The internet connection is fast. The room itself has an ample space which is made highly functional by nice detailed touches such as hanging points, and several shelves and surfaces to place things on. There's a fridge and an a/c unit. The staff (Elisa, Rosane, Neno, Lizie, etc.) are very accommodating. They allowed us take a shower even after we checked out. They even lent us fresh towels and soaps.
If there's anything that can be better, it is the layout of the shower stall doors. The space might be too tight for bigger/taller travelers.
