Hotel is convenient if you have an appointment at the US Consulate. The view on the rooftop deck was nice. The staff were polite and helpful.
The room where we stayed was not sound proof and you could hear the guests next door. You could also hear the shower next door and upstairs,. There's obviously something wrong with the plumbing/pipes because when they would take a shower, it sounded like a train was going through our room. Horrible way to wake up. The room wasn't as clean as we would've liked.

It was close to the consulate, which was the purpose of our visit. The amenities were nice.
It felt a little old, the air conditioning wasnt working super well.

Clean quite room in a very good condition, friendly and professional stuff. The breakfast was very good. Close to SDU airport, metro, downtown. Hotel has a great view at the city, the bay and the mountains from the rooftop, which also has a pool.
Downtown Rio feels very dangerous. The street is full of hotels next to each other, but not maintained at all.
