The location could be be any better. I explored Búzios and I think Bamboo is in the 100% best spot for beach, restaurants, shopping, and transportation in & out of Búzios.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and main attractions. Would appreciate if the staff would know English, but nonetheless we were able to understand each other and overall stay was very good.

The location was absolutely breathtaking, and the staff—especially the tour guides Ricardo and Leonardo—were instrumental in making my stay a success. The field trips they led enriched my experience and gave me a deeper appreciation of Búzios
The shared bathroom was a bit dirty, so I'd recommend cleaning it more often. It was totally fine, of course, but it could have been better.

Kind staff, good breakfast and well located place in Búzios center and right in front of the beach.
The air conditioner at nights was always too high/cold and could only be regulated by the staff.

Great location, nice staff and generally really good hostel
For the price I would expect it to be a bit better, for example the wifi was barely working in the evenings (they did say this was generally bad throughout the town) and there was only one bathroom for a 13 person room so naturally it was always occupied and a bit dirty. For a 9/10 place I would expect a few other basics like towel hooks in the bathroom which weren't there. Overall very good hostel (mainly due to the location) but not quite as good as the 9+/10 reviews imply.

Wonderful
Outstanding location in the center of town and beachfront, with private steps down to the beach. Highlight is the warm, energetic staff, who go out of their way to make the stay great. Continental breakfast in front of big, open windows facing the ocean.
My room had only a small window and was stuffy until the air conditioning was turned on at 10 p.m. Suggest inquiring about room location at the time of booking.

Perfect position with view on the beach. Good breakfast. Very clean facility, despite being a bit old. Nice activities organized (including the lovely free tours at the beach with Hadassa). Very nice staff, friendly and accomodating.
Dorms are really a bit old and without curtains or privacy. However even with 13 people in the room it did feel big enough and quiet.

The beach ,breakfast and the location was perfect .Maylen y Agustin was very nice and 100 % and they help me a lot ♥️♥️❤️??.
A/c súper hot in the afternoon and evening ,, the should put the a/c around a little more early around 8 pm is so hot and that the time that u flix ur self to going out and is super hot specially in that hour the rest was good ❤️

Excellent location (but don't be fooled by the beach part of it though), okay breakfast and they let you keep your things during the day after checkout, they even have a bathroom with shower that you can use before leaving (after an afternoon at the beach!). Polite staff.
There were no curtains or nooks to give you privacy in a big shared room... there was also one small bathroom that needs to be cleaned more than once a day because it made the room smell funky (although I never found it dirty!). There's no roomkey os the shared rooms, independent on the locks you should bring to the lockers...I found that a bit weird no matter how safe the place is. I have been advised that they will change that next year, but as of now, they don't have room keys. The beach view is nice but it is probably the worst beach you can go in Buzios (it is full of boats and smells like petroleum)
