The place sits on a lovely hill, close to everything, and offers an amazing view. It has a beautiful pool, an outdoor kitchen perfect for cooking anything you like, and a spacious patio that’s great for relaxing or hanging out. Parking is private and easy, too.
But what truly makes the biggest difference are the hosts, Simon and Jolanda. They are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. They’re always happy to chat, share tips, and give you all the advice you need to make your stay easy, fun, and unforgettable. Since they live just behind the property, they’re easy to reach and genuinely know how to make every guest feel special.
Leaving is the hardest part—because it really feels like home.

The stay was really wonderful!
The resort is a little bit outside of the city, so one needs a car or scooter, but you gain a very spacious and beautiful hideout on the top of a hill with beautiful view in a calm area.
You can watch the sunset and the night live in the city from the top. We loved to chill in the large and comfy hammocks in the evenings.
Simon, the host, was super friendly and had great tipps for exploring the island.
We loved it so much that we even changed or flights and extended our stay, not wanting to leave.

Very clean and comfortable. Quiet and relaxing away from the downtown that is too busy and expensive. Simon made us feel right at home. There are two pools, tons of hammocks, a refrigerator, and a place to rinse and hang scuba and snorkeling gear. We made full use of the excellent free coffee in the morning and the kitchen and grill at night.
It is a 5-10 minute drive to town or the beach to make for a very relaxed and quiet location. We were happy to be away from the cruise ship crowd downtown but you do need a rental car or scooter.

Simon and Jolanda are amazing hosts who made me feel completely at home. First, Simon gave me a thorough tour of the property, clearly explaining where everything was located, which was incredibly helpful. Second, he kindly offered to give me a ride back to the airport on the day of my return. He was punctual and picked me up at the pre-agreed location and time. Third, Jolanda went above and beyond by offering to help me find a doctor when I was concerned about diver’s ear. Fourth, the rooms are cleaned daily, and your bed is made for you every day, adding to the overall comfort of the stay.
In summary, the couple running Goood Resort are incredibly friendly and truly prioritize their guests’ comfort and wellbeing—something I didn’t experience at the first place I stayed in Bonaire. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to any traveler, whether traveling solo or in a group.
The property is located on a hill with a lovely view of Kralendijk. While you’ll need a car to get around, the ride to the center of Kralendijk is quick, taking only about 7 minutes.
One common issue in Bonaire is mosquitoes, and this isn’t specific to Goood Resort. While the resort provides mosquito repellent for guests, I highly recommend bringing your own preferred repellent before your trip to Bonaire to ensure you’re well-prepared.

The place , because of the location in a hill, you feel the wind all day long. The room, the bed and the bathroom are very comfortable. The staff, Kim was very friendly. The neighborhood is very quiet.

This place was amazing! Kim was so nice to us. She greeted us with a glass of wine upon arrival, showed us around the resort, and made us feel at home immediately! The resort is beautiful and quiet. Its so private that every time we wanted to swim, there were noone at the pool or jacuzzi. The overall stay was so warming, relaxing, private, stunning, and i can go on and on. Thank you Kim for being such a great host, you really were awesome and friendly. When we come back to Bonaire this is our place to stay and I recommend you choose them too!!

It was our third time there and we love the place and also having a dedicated space to keep and clean our diving gear.
You can chill all you need and also be very independent, you can cook your own food and there is lots of space to just relax for the day.

Before arrival, the host helped us getting a rental car with a local provider, suitable for driving around with diving gear. Furthermore, the management is very flexible: you can have the (excellent) breakfast, but if you prefer to arrange your own, that is also perfectly fine. There is a a refrigerator for your own food and drinks, and there are drinks, snacks and some frozen food available for a small fee. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals if you choose to (but the island has plenty of restaurants as well).
The pool area has hammocks, that are conveniently located in a seemingly perpetual breeze. The room was spacious and even contained two showers and a bath, plus a double sink. Everything was kept clean without it feeling intrusive. Finally, there is a dedicated area to rinse and store your diving gear.

The most incredible place to relax and switch off, whether in a double hammock, the jacuzzi and pool or the roof top terrace to watch sunset. Beautifully designed with a lovely peaceful atmosphere created by the wonderfully hospitable hosts Joost and Nicolette and their local team. There's a green egg BBQ for guests to use, and a delicious breakfast that's well worth ordering. Look forward to hopefully coming back again soon!

Really beautiful and relaxing tropical decor (looks better in real life than on the photos). Great chilling area around the pool / rooftop.
Less close to the ocean than some other places (but the hilltop view does make up for it)
