We stayed in an ocean front two bedroom suite and were blown away at the view. Lovely patio outside and seating inside all with expansive view of the beautiful ocean. Quiet, clean, with lots of space and overall unbelievable experience

The location of our room facing the street (road) did not allow for a good night’s sleep. Traffic on the road resulted in us being awake as early as 3-4 a.m. The room fees are high compared to Aruba, Curaçao and other islands in the Caribbean facing oceanfront. Car rentals are also much more expensive.

Great spot to dive or snorkel right off the pier. Very convenient
The street that it’s on is extremely busy, and parking spots are tight. You really have to be careful pulling out. Also there is no gym, but we bought a guest pass at a nearby gym

Too great mix! I rarely do this but I’d say 5 stars well earned!
A bathroom and shower by the pool would be nice, hotel isn’t really easy to use after checkout - facilities by pool would have been nice.

The property has a lovely pier that one can use to jump into the ocean to snorkel. Lots of fish visible from the pier. The suites were large and comfortable. The view of the balcony was wonderful. The kitchen was stocked well with pots and dishes for a home cooked meal. AC worked well in all rooms, and the staff was very kind and helpful. I would stay here again.
I booked two Grand Suites and the level of care was different in one of the units. One was perfect and the other was not quite as clean. I would say that hotel is not quite what I would call this property, more like a condo complex with a dipping pool. The drinks and food come from the restaurant next door and sometimes the quality was so-so. Since we were more interested in eating in, this was not a huge factor.

The location of this hotel is outstanding. We had a room on the 1st floor, corner. We walked out our double doors (one set from the living room and another set from the bedroom) onto a large covered area with comfy outdoor sofa and large dining table, and from there just a few feet directly to the water's edge where there are 2-top tables, lounge chairs, and hammock chairs. Then a few more feet to the pier where there are lounge chairs and ladder access to nice snorkeling. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. They cleaned every day except Sunday. Staff was always helpful - we called once for towels to take to the beach, and they were at our door within 30 seconds to deliver them! Staff was outside early in the morning quietly wiping down all the chairs, railings, etc to keep everything nice and clean. It was a relaxing environment, not stuffy. I usually don't like to stay at the same place twice because I like exploring new things, but in this case, we had such a great experience, we will definitely stay there again when we return to Bonaire. Highly recommend!
The only thing I would have liked was a pair of slippers to wear in the room. After snorkeling and coming back with sandy feet, it would be nice to have a pair of slipper by the door to prevent tracking sand in. I had forgotten to bring my own unfortunately. They do provide nice terry cloth bathrobes.

The staff of Bellafonte is super friendly. Always there to help you out. The hotel is located in front of the sea, spectacular view and very nice snorkelling spot.
This is not a standard hotel. Although you can ask for the staff to do some groceries for you, there are no eating facilities or a bar. Next door there’s a super nice small beach club with good breakfast.
