When we checked in the hotel said they were not notified by Booking. Com that we had requested 2 twin beds even though our reservation showed that on paper. It was a problem that took about an hour to solve and the hotel was not happy nor were we after a 20 hours flying and laying over.

Staff were good, cleanliness is good, swimming pool is good.
Novotel being international brand, we expect minimum facilities like tooth brush, shaving kits kind of basic needs, some time we don't carry or miss during travel, we asked for it several times but did not get proper response.
