Excellent breakfast with tea/coffee/hot chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice, omelette, delicious bread rolls and pastries, fresh mango and pineapple.
Friendly staff
Wifi kept dipping in and out in my room, but not sure if I got connected to the correct network as it worked great in the restaurant.

Fine room with all that I needed including a really nice shower. What's more: in case you want to open the windows, all three have mosquito screens (without damage), what a delight to not be pestered at night.
Staff is very helpful and friendly, most do not speak English but a few words of French go a long way.
Good breakfast, very good restaurant - it's more a restaurant with a few hotel rooms than the other way round.
Not the hotel's fault of course: the quarter it's in is not one of the most interesting ones, and possibly a bit shady in the evening (it didn't bother me personally, but it will not be to everyone's taste). Getting a taxi is easy via the hotel staff. No uber or bolt. There is an African app, Gozem, which I tried to get a taxi - it all worked fine until the moment that I had arranged a ride and stood waiting ... and then the taxi driver calls me on the phone. Sorry, can't take up the phone with my European subscription, that sucks my monthly budget out in no time, and besided with my limited French I just can not understand the local version of French. So I pushed the call away, the guy tried 3 times. I canceled, and tried again - same thing. Up to 3 times. I asked a local: it's custom to call and ask the client where he is - well, just look at your screen, the app tells you where I am, dear driver? Anyway, end of Gozem, does not work for people like me in Cotonou.

The location is convenient, the staff is super nice and the breakfast is very good. Rooms have a very decent size and a balcony. The restaurant is quite good for dinner.
No gel/shampoo in the toilet, towels could be a bit more clean and the connection to wifi has to be requested for each device (phone, laptop, etc) to the staff, since they do not share the password.
