The host was amazing, he woke up quite early in the morning to prepare us breakfast, helped in calling Gozem to drive us to the bus station.
The food that they serve is very good. I would say ? out of ?.
Overall the room was spacious, clean, with a big bathroom.
They also have small souvenir shop of local artists crafts, which is very handy if you need to grab anything last minute and don’t wanna go anywhere.
The location was also very convenient with a nice neighborhood.

Very nice place in a very good and quiet neighborhood. I felt very welcome and staying there for few nights added some authenticity to Cotonou experience.
There are not many restaurants and options to go out in walking distance but no worries as the burger is excellent and, with a bit of luck, in one of the evenings I got also a very good entrecôte. The cafe gourmet is surely something to try!

B & B located in a quiet residential area but not too far from local attractions such as the statue Amazone, Murale and Obama beach. Excellent Wi-Fi coverage and small flat screen TV with a assortment of channels. Fairly large room with an even larger bathroom equipped with hot shower. Mosquito net provided too.
Most appreciated was the diligent service from Uti and the Saturday night concert which really was amazing with a wide array of musical styles.
Breakfast was somewhat basic but could be supplemented at a cost. Also, the window in the bathroom had no curtains and one could easily peer through. Not really an issue for me but I guess for a female traveller, it could be important to ensure her intimacy!

Comfortable room with access to nice terrace, good breakfast in garden, and most welcoming and helpful host. A restaurant on site is also a bonus!

This is a great place to stay in Cotonou, especially if you're travelling for work or staying for longer periods. Rooms are spacious and super clean - some have a harder mattress but it's ok. It is in a good area, where most UN offices and embassies are, so very safe. The owners are super helpful, they really go out of their way to help out (including finding drivers, tour guides, etc.). The kitchen is always open and with good variety of food, breakfast is good and served promptly in the morning even if you have to leave early. Nice interaction with other guests and even miniconcerts on Saturday night.

When you talk about Comfort and a Sense of Being Home, BB Chez Rita is that one place that comes to mind.
The host Mrs. Jocelyn and her Staff made traveling so relaxing, till the end of our stay in Cotonou.
We would rate BB Chez Rita 200% if there's anything like that??.

Chez Rita was a real home away from home for me. The rooms are simple, but they have all what you need inclusive moskito netting. The continental breakfast is very good, always with fresh fruit and home made juice. I enjoyed the outside seating areas both downstairs and on the first floor. I had dinner only once. It was good value for money, well presented and tasty. Jocelyn and Térence, the owner-managers, went out of their way to help me with all my errands. Jocelyn even drove me to the bank and assisted with drawing and changing money. They found a reliable driver for my excursions and advised where to go. Their personal touch also helped with interacting with other guests, always welcome for a single traveller like me.
