The rooms on the water are rustic but delightful. It was lovely to fall asleep to the sound of the water lapping underneath and the frogs croacking.
Getting food was a bit of a struggle. We had to go to a different property (only about 300 meters away), and the food took some time to be delivered.

The best was comfortable. The room was clean and spacious. The location on the lake is lovely.
There were ants crawling all over the bathroom counter and along the wall in the bedroom. There was no garbage bin in the room. The restaurant is in a different location with a small selection.

Lovely setting. Nice simple wooden bungalows. Great staff.
As I was seeking for some quiet days, I booked the hotel with the pool, which is smaller, but also more expensive. No need to do so, every morning after breakfast big groups from Chez Theo 1 arrived and captured the pool. No more space at all…. In the evening I was mostly alone and it got quiet again.

Restaurant was 10’-15’ walking and it was no possible to order from the room’s location because they haven’t the menu.

It is a simple but very nice hotel at a very spectacular location. The restaurant team was preparing a nice birthday dessert for our twins and the manager was very helpful.
Clearly one of the best places we visited in Benin.
Everything was great! We strongly recommend the lakeside bungalows at the ressort’s northern site (the one with the pool, 200m walk from the restaurant- location)

I loved the over-water bungalow. It was small, but comfortable inside and outside on the deck.
The views were magnificent.
Compost toilet. And having to use concrete blocks for steps. That seems unsafe. Why not put in proper steps?

Good location, great place, friendly staff. Mr Harve the restaurant manager was very helpful, we also met mr Theo. Very nice people.
