Disappointing
The pool was clean ,

There was plenty of choice in the restaurant , Breakfast and evening meal
The floor in the bedroom was dirty , people's Long hair and gritty sand , not very pleasant .
The floor also felt a little sticky under foot.
The bathroom was the worst thing , it was very dark .
smelt really nasty ? and there was human excrement coming up through the drain and leaking from the pipe at the back of the toilet from other rooms .
I did let them know discreetly at the reception ,
so they sent a very sweet cleaning lady with a toilet brush and a bottle of Demestos which I found emencly funny because obviously this was a Health and safety plumbing issue and not a cleaning issue ,
I'm afraid the cleaning with toilet brush , Demestos
and a square see through piece of plastic did not help . Not sure what the little piece of plastic was supposed to do but it made her happy .
I returned to the reception and explained that this approach was not working , the very nice Manager then came to my room and opened the Bathroom door , and oops he then agreed it was a plumbing issue .
At the end of the day , the manager did the right thing and gave me a new room as soon as they realized
This issue was no fault of the management or staff , it was a plumbing issue .

The location was excellent, very close to the beach, which was a great advantage. The food was really good, with tasty and varied options, and the rooms were spacious and had a balcony.
The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, and the bed sheets were not changed daily. The towels looked quite old and worn, and the twin beds were very uncomfortable. Communication with the staff was also sometimes difficult, as not everyone understood English very well.

The staff was friendly. The food, while not extraordinary, was acceptable—you won’t go hungry—and some of the dishes are actually quite good. The room was fairly clean, and the towels were changed daily. Although the pool area was crowded, it was quiet, and you could always find a lounge chair.
Wi-Fi was free, but only in the lobby, and it wasn't very fast. In the room, it only worked if you paid separately, and I understand it wasn’t very fast even when paid. The alcoholic beverages are from 69 Shots, made from agricultural alcohol, food coloring, flavorings, and sugar to mimic the smell and taste of whiskey, rum, brandy, and tequila. The wine (they have white, rosé, and red) was acceptable, and the beer was fine. The orange and cherry juices were basically colored water, with no orange or cherry flavor. The apple juice was good.

Breakfasts were ok but very similar each day. However dinners were exceptional. Lots of meals every evening, always different and sometimes even a welcome drink before dinner. The main benefit of my room was the balcony with a really nice view. Close proximity to the beach. Very comfy bed and pillows.
Loud music from outside. But that was a trade off for a central location. Dated bathroom. Elevators were always full.

Our recent stay at this hotel was unfortunately a significant letdown. From the moment we arrived, it was clear the hotel was not prepared to offer a comfortable experience.
The staff was consistently rude and seemed entirely unprepared to handle even basic guest requests. There was a distinct lack of professionalism that made every interaction unpleasant.
The most concerning issues, however, were related to the hotel's cleanliness. Our room was dirty, and the bathroom had a persistent, foul odor that made it very uninviting. This lack of attention to basic hygiene is unacceptable.
Adding to our frustration we found no available parking upon our arrival and they sent us to park faraway in an unsafe zone. This oversight was incredibly inconvenient and demonstrated a clear lack of organization.
Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing. We would not recommend this hotel to others.

I didn’t like poor quality food- i think that the cook its practicing on the people are staying in the hotel, with weird recipes.
dirty windows, the bathroom was awful, a lot of mold, the towels had spots on them looked like the whole hotel use them on their ass( just in first day). The curtains had dark brown spots, i was afraid to get close or to smell it, I’m not sure exactly, but they looked like shit.
Don’t stay to 9-10 high floor, the balcony is the habitat of pigeons, if u want dirty clothes just leave them on the balcony, the pigeons will do the job.
From the lobby you can since that something is fishy, it’s smells like an chicken poop, and there are not the farming type, they don’t have any birds but still smells horrible.
When you go to have your dinner you serve anything else than water, the juice is still water.

Disappointing
The receptionist was not patient, the rooms are old and not ventilated, the bathroom is really cramped and small, you can barely brush your teeth, the meals are horrible, in the evening we only ate pizza, in the morning bread with butter and scrambled eggs are also prepared, pancakes and Belgian waffles are prepared every 5 minutes, 4 units come out. About a 15-minute walk from the main promenade. Not recommended.

After such a bitter experience with the night staff, it’s difficult to find anything truly positive to mention!!!
Hotel Meridian has a serious issue with its night staff, and guests deserve to be warned. Two individuals in particular demonstrated behaviour that was not only unprofessional but completely inappropriate: the night receptionist, Zlatin, and the night security guard.
Zlatin was not wearing a name badge and flatly refused to identify himself when asked. Instead of responding appropriately, he raised his voice and threatened to call the police four separate times, in response to nothing more than a basic question. His conduct was unstable, confrontational, and wholly incompatible with the role he is meant to perform.
The night security guard was no better. Dressed in civilian clothing, with no form of identification, he behaved with alarming disregard for guest dignity. I witnessed him leave a guest standing outside the building without providing a single word of explanation or assistance. Such behaviour reflects a fundamental lack of respect and basic decency.
These are not isolated lapses. They are symptoms of a deeper problem in how the hotel is staffed and managed after hours. It is difficult to believe that any professional establishment would allow individuals of such calibre to represent them at the front line.
I reported the incident to the day staff prior to check-out. Whether the management acts on it remains to be seen. But for the sake of future guests: this hotel does not currently meet even the minimum standards of professionalism, safety, or hospitality expected in a modern hotel environment. Proceed with caution.

The location was good if you need to go to the beach for a swim, it's only 5-10 min walk.
The cleanliness of the hotel is at a very low standard. There were stains on bathroom floor, the shower glass was all stained as well, we had to ask for new set of towels as the first one had some stains.

The hotel's dining room has a wide variety of salads but is very low in protein. Cheap products are used in terms of fish and meat. Very disappointing
