Maybe the kitchen should have been better equipped, but it was ok.

That there is no enough parking spaces

When we checked in, we were told that one of the windows on the balcony was broken and would be replaced in a day, but no one came to replace it. Also, the tap in the kitchen was leaking, which created a puddle under the sink. No one did anything about this problem after we reported it.

Facilities wise we had no kettle, hairdryer and kitchen equipment was extremely limited/non existent. The sofa bed is also broken and doesnt serve its purpose. The upstairs boiler didnt work and downstairs toilet was broken. When we mentioned these things to the manager of the apartments she immediately got defensive and started shouting it was ok before you got here, you have done this and just leave and I will give you the money back? Then she started shouting about a door bell broken. I had no idea what she was talking about and she said someone pressed the door bell too hard and its stuck and blamed us? I had no idea that was there and we had keys. She then blamed kids that were running around. However midnight that night someone was locked out I gather and trying all the doors so I assume that is where the problem came from. I was shocked at how she just started shouting at me as I just wanted to let her know and I sense this has been a constant theme for her. She came up to my room and immediately moved the cistern lid in a certain direction/way that is unusual and the toilet started filling. Then went upstairs and put a card under the switch to lift the switch up and it worked. When the cleaner came she didnt get the memo and moved it all again so I now know who was touching/changing everything. The manager also said if I had a problem I should speak to the cleaner not her as this is not a hotel, she is very busy and I shouldnt have expected a hotel service. Not sure a broken toilet or boiler is a hotel service. I think it is also the right thing to do to let them know so they can get it fixed. I also did try the cleaner in the first place and she speaks neither english nor Bulgarian so not sure how we could have communicated with her? The manager did state we are coming to the end of the season so you should expect problems. We had a big group before you who looks like they took alot of things like hairdryer.

There was one significant downside that affected my stay. The spare bed sheets provided in the apartment had an unpleasant odor that was quite off-putting.

The bed downstairs kind of worn-out and falling apart, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Also, for those who take the washing machine for granted, make sure there is one in the apartment. In ours there was none, although the description claimed to the contrary. However, thanks to the hospitality and kindness of the receptionist and the maids we could use one in other apartments when possible so there was just a small discomfort with planning.
