Overall it was good. It was clean and the bathroom was nice to use.
The large windows were nice, but they needed cleaning. They didn't open very well, which was a bit uncomfortable, and they needed cleaning. Also, the room service and minibar prices were a bit high, which made me hesitate a bit.

Location, reception stuff who were so nice and polite, the unit that has been given was amazing, hotel as usual is at a very central and easy accessible location
First of all, the restaurant stuff was so rude and unprofessional. We stayed two nights and we had two morning breakfast in that place. I do not know from where to start. We were not asked for our order single time, it was so funny to watch that tables around has been asked for their final orders and me being passed.I was with two small kids and due to that I was treated like an alien. It was expected to ask for everything three times at least. Even I got a response “Kitchen is busy you have to wait”, this was after 20 min wait for a simple crepe :) Second , place was over subscribed, finding a place was impossible. Overall, the money you are paying for the place and treatment you are getting is not worthed.. Due to my final experience with them, I am not recommending the place

Spacious room, recommend facing the back for almost absolute quiet. Perfect breakfast and very friendly and fats service. As to the location, it is the best known and most central in Sofia, right in front of parliament, the most important place in the country.

We had a fantastic room with a panorama window looking toward the cathedral, old parliament building, park and patriotic statues. The view, especially at night, was magical. The location was within walking distance to historic buildings, as well as restaurants and shopping. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, including smoked salmon and local specialties. The concierge was friendly and helpful, as well as desk staff.
The dinner menu and dishes could be better.

Clean and modern.
Very cold, in the room were 18.5 degrees Clesius. They gave us an heater to increase the room tempreture, but it was old and it could not make it. We woke up freezing several times during the nigh to turn on the heater, it was very bad night. Probably they save on heating costs, but its unacceptable for such hotel.

Location was near airport
Staff was rude, particularly the male employee who delivered clean towels to our room. Extremely, Extremely RUDE! Something I had never experienced before in a foreign country.
The male employee at the front desk also greeted me with an attitude of how 'I should know' where the garage is and where to park. Not impressed at all.
Overall, this was a common occurrence in the country of Bulgaria. They are not very appreciative or welcoming of Americans visiting their country.
In summary, will not be returning to Bulgaria ever again!

Central location with beautiful views, we were upgraded to a room with the best views! Staff is wonderful, courteous and friendly, all speak fluent English. Breakfast was amazing, with many local and international food options. We have recently stayed in the Miami Intercontinental in Florida, but found the Sofia hotel better maintained and superior in terms of service and food. We booked due to travel disruptions passing through Sofia but were glad of the delay as it allowed us to experience all that this hotel had to offer.
