Wonderful
Newly renovated hotel that was walking distance from almost everwhere we wanted to go. Even Mount Vitosha was easily accessible by tram and bus. There is a tram stop steps away from the entrance. Our flight was late at night and it was easy to book a transfer from the airport which made our arrival very easy (the driver was very helpful, informative and nice). Breakfast was great with a good coffee machine. Staff were extremely friendly too. Overall this place is an excellent value in Sofia.
Some of the lighting/electricty switches were a little oddly laid out, but no big deal.

The room was nice and clean, the breakfast was nice with nice variety of food.
I've requested for a double bed and got two separate beds
There was a mini bar in the room but it wasnt connected.
The glass door for the shower didnt close - the magnet wasnt able to hold it close.
We had a block in the toilets although we didnt throw anything in... so it ended up that we did not use the toilet in the morning
The thing that was most disappointing and effect my score was to discover that the "free partking" is 700m away from the hotel in a paid public parking and in the morning i had to pass through another hotel in order to validate the card for the parking. - this wasnt mentioned anywhere and not expected when you say that an hotel has a parking.

Location and free parking
Bathroom was not cleaned and toilet seat was very dirty after somebody vomited there. See pic. I cleaned the toilet seat with bathroom brush and managed to sleep one night by keeping the bathroom door closed and smells inside.
Next morning I asked to clean the room. When arriving back late afternoon the room was not cleaned. It was at the same state as I left it after own cleaning. See pics.
Poor management to let this to happen.

New hotel, new equipment, good location, good breakfast, good staff.
Only one blanket on the double bed, too narrow for two.
My room didn't have a single chair.
Windows do not open enough.
The view on the back side of the hotel from some rooms is not beautiful at all.
There is no legal place in front of the hotel where the guest can stop the car and take out the luggage.

Disappointing
Excellent, kind, helpful staff.
AC was broken, televisions did not work, hot water did not work, parking is located several blocks away and requires multiple steps between two hotels to validate.

Wonderful
The hotel is strategically located in proximity to the airport and within the heart of the capital city, offering a clean and well-maintained environment. Although I did not have the opportunity to experience the breakfast service due to an early departure for a flight, I observed that the hotel provides convenient access to the city, which features hilly terrain and picturesque views that are easily explored on foot.

It’s old and unmaintained - the floor was really dirty, looked like someone left their pet inside for several days and didn’t clean afterwards. The bed was nice and comfortable but the leather was ripped and it looked old and unpleasant. The bathroom was kind of nice but it had only shampoo and hand soap, also the shower was small, old and needs replacement. The breakfast was good - enough things to choose from.
