Hostel Mostel Sofia is set in a renovated building from the 19th century, enjoying a quiet location in the center of Sofia. A modern, shared kitchen is at guests’ disposal. Serdika underground railway station is a 10-minute walk away. The comfortably furnished rooms have private and shared facilities. All rooms have access to free Wi-Fi and shared computers are available upon request. Guests may use the common living room which features a billiard table. Really nice communal area particularly the large bed platform Great breakfast for €5 great value for money The urn of tea is a nice touch as well Secure area for my bike and also able to leave my big bag secured behind reception desk
Didn't bother me but there is a pub crawl so people come back late But if I was younger I would have been 1 of those people ?

2nd Stay. If you like hostels, you love it. It has a real nice lobby vibe, you can meet and talk to real human beingd, and I like the quiet of the annex buildings down the street.

Breakfast was good. The staff was helpful. The location is really close to the city center which is nice.
The room was not cleaned properly. It smelled of cigarettes and it wouldn’t go away, no matter how many times I opened the windows. My clothes and hair were also affected by the smell of cigarettes; waking up to that was a nightmare. Also, the doorknob was broken; I had to fix it multiple times to lock the room while I was leaving or going to bed. I booked this room in the hopes of leaving my personal belongings safely as it is a single room in a hostel. However, I had to carry everything valuable in my bag throughout the city, because of the damaged doorknob.

Disappointing
The staff were as helpful as they could be.
I was really disappointed in the room. I am a solo female traveller and I specifically book hostels or hotels for the saftey element of having reception staff. It turned out my booking was in a totally seperate building 10mins walk away. They should specify this. The room was also dirty, it was so dusty and there were dead mosquitos.

I liked that there was no noise in the room, everything was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I also liked the fact that they made sure guests had a great experience touring the city. One guy named Marco? was super amazing he took us to nice bars at night, we got free shots, and we had a good laugh the whole time?. If you are a solo traveler, this place is perfect. It is also located in the city center.?

Wonderful
Good hospitality of owners, English-speaking receptionists and staff, cleaniness, relative comfort if you can say this to any hostel-like experience. I stayed in 6-bed dormitory, but it was a mixed one (men+women), so overall it was calm during nights. Great location in city center. Parking is free.
Nothing I can think of. Just be aware that sometimes you may see many people next to you, who may be loud or stinky, especially night-time.

The check in process was annoying and disorganized, definitely not the room that’s pictured in the ad. With a 10 minute walk to the kitchen.the building wasn’t very secure front door didn’t lock, the room had one small heater and the windows were very drafty. For the price you’re better off staying somewhere else.

Great place to stay. Best value and location. I arrived early and there was a common space they allowed me to rest and hang out which was so appreciated. Everything was extremely clean and comfortable!

Staff was nice, location is ok
The bed was very uncomfortable, I could feel the springs in the mattress, bathrooms were dirty, only 1 shower for 2-3 rooms
