The location is perfect, right next to the main pedestrian boulevard, but at quiet street. The room was clean and has everything I needed. The bathroom is shared, but also very clean.
Smoking is allowed at the terrace and the smell sometimes enters the hostel. However it doesn`t bothered me too much.

At first the place looked clean, however I had multiple bites when I woke up. This place will not pass health inspection.
I am 100 sure this place had termites. I had an allergic reaction from the bites that were very painful.

Top location, very nice staff, clean.
During my stay there was a problem with the restaurant's aspiration on the lower floor and my room had a smell. The host assured me that they had reported the problem and were waiting the aspiration filters to be replaced. The host was very kind and agreed to change my room.

Very informative and helpful host, lots of local recommendation and help navigating around. Facilities although a bit older are aplenty and in great working order. Do keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper, given the doors for our room were glass and right by the reception, any light or noise from other guests is not filtered out in any way. No fault of the property but best kept in mind.
No noise filtration through doors to room, but to be expected from glass!

I liked the central location of the property - it is in the heart of Sofia but is not noisy at all; apart from that, it is 5 minutes away from a metro station so you could travel easily to any other part of the city. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the hostel - it is cosy and holds a neat, not over-the-top vibe.
The host was really polite and helpful and wanted his guests to feel as comfortable as possible during their stay.
All in all, it holds a great value for its money.
