Great host and handsome man ?. My plane landed at 1 am and Avel collected me from the airport and next day took me back as I was renting the car. Very clean, fridge and little kitchenette in the room.
I hate smoking small, just I could feel smoke in the curtains, someone smoked here before, a lot!

Location was a short distance from the airport and for an inexpensive price Jordan drove us into Sofia City Centre and took extra time and effort to drop us off at our correct location. He was extremely helpful.

Jordan couldn't have been more helpful, organising the transfer from the airport - and on to the bus station in the morning - personally. I felt very safe despite arriving late at night.
The accommodation had everything I needed. It was warm, there was plenty of hot water and I was pleased to have a real ceramic cup for my herbal tea!
Perfect for solo travellers.

Not much...I believed the rave reviews and expected photos to be accurate. Fortunately a long term tenant aided us with information, such as correct wifi as sign in room was wrong, helped with where to find coffee cups and directions to market and restaurants.. location was only plus.
Shabby place, not very clean and bathroom had stinky smell. This place is not the same shown in photos.

I've always used Avel over the past few years and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Although in the airport district, it's a quiet location with good transport links. The beds are comfy, there's a kettle and a kitchen with a microwave. What really makes it outstanding is Jordan the owner who can't do enough for guests. I've always used his transport service to and from the airport and train station. He's ordered food for me and found me a room when I needed to change flights. As a single pensioner it's important to feel safe and comfortable. Jordan and Avel guest house have always done that. Many thanks.

The owner was very helpful and nice. My plane arrived a little late, but my pickup was at the airport to get me. They also called a taxi for me. I slept peacefully.

There is everything. Private bathroom and next to bus stop. The bus takes you to the metro and this to the city or the airport.

The owner was amazing. We were so lucky to meet such an amazing person out of the many people Bulgaria. He made my trip so much better, and we have had the best stay at his apartment. The owner is so helpful and kind he helped us rent a car and reach the airport. He didn’t leave us until he made sure we were safe. I will forever be grateful to him.

If you have an early flight it's a good solution. A very nice garden to sit and relax. Also there's a barbecue in the grass.
A great caring host who speaks English. answers quickly to messages.
10-15 min from the airport so great for early/late flights.
The noise of the airplanes was loud (make sense due to location but we didn't take it into account).
The bathroom is extremely small - if you take a shower you wet the toilet.
Beds are very soft but this is a matter of taste.
a little challenging to get there from City center. Even taxi had difficulties finding the place. If not a taxi there was a need for 2 buses. it is cumbersome. Yet, the host is informative.
