Very Good
This is my fourth time staying at this hotel, and once again it was an excellent experience. The hotel has a very warm, cozy, and home-like atmosphere and is absolutely worth the money. The staff is amazing, kind, and always available for any request or question.
I would like to mention that this time I initially received a smaller room than I usually get. I mentioned it at the reception, and they immediately found me a new room—spacious and comfortable, exactly as I was used to, even though we arrived late at night.
The spa is also excellent. The massage was 10/10. Highly recommended.
The hotel could use a few small maintenance fixes, but aside from that, everything was clean

Spa facilities were nice as well as the in room fireplace.
Not a 4 star hotel by all means. It looked nice on the outside but the overall hotel and rooms are not well kept. Mattress was horrible, furniture in the room were uncomfortable to sit in. Pictures present maybe one "new room" but the rest haven't been changed for at least a decade.

The Hotel is itself good, the lobby is cozy and nice. The rooms are spacious and clean.
The main disappointment of this hotel is the staff (apart from the room service ladies). The staff is like forced to be there, none of them have desire to make you feel welcome and comfortable. None of them have even a single smile on thier faces and they are really bothered if you have any issue or resquest. They try to work as less as possible.

Wonderful
The location of the hotel is perfect for families , quiet and peaceful.The rooms are spaciuos and very clean , the breakfast was on point with plenty of options to choose from.The staff is nice and pleasant , the pool and sauna facilities are well equiped.
The bathroom was very small , and every time you take a shower is like you have your very own pool inside , the water just won't go away, and after that it smelled.

Spacious apartment. Friendly staff. Tasty breakfast
The room was showing many signs of wear and tear and was in desperate need of repair. No meaningful TV. We experienced 3 hours of power cut and it turned out the pool and spa zone are not connected to emergency power supply so we could not use them at all on the day we checked in. No apology or compliment was offered by the hotel.

The Door couldn't lock fully, had to improvise for security. The location is far from the center, also the road to the hotel isn't paved with asphalt.

Overalls.a very nice hotel in Bansko. Spacious rooms with kitchen, very good breakfast, nice SPA, different activities for children, nice green area around, close to Gondola. Will visit again

Pleasant
Great location within easy 1km walking distance of restaurants in Bansko. Easy access to hiking in Pirins. Facilities were excellent. Check-in staff and maid were super-friendly.
Paper-thin walls. “Kids Zone” in middle of main hallway. The biggest problem with GL Bansko isn’t anything directly with the hotel itself - it’s the people staying there. Main clientele is young Eastern Euro families with small children - which means unruly children and bad parenting (I have traveled worldwide and this was THE WORST). Kids were running around the grounds until nearly midnight screaming, breakfast was a tornado of children and parents without manners, getting tripped by running children in the hallways. Getting to sleep was very very difficult. Gen Z will be ok with all of this, but consider elsewhere if you are older and/or looking to relax on the balcony you paid for and watch the mountains and sunset. (Reviewer: well-traveled 55year old with teenagers).

Overnight stay with the fam. We were assigned rooms in different buildings even if I requested two adjacent.
My room was musty, old, with stained walls, one of the smallest bathrooms I've seen to date, and barely working faucets. Definitely not worthy of 3 stars.
Disclaimer, my wife and daughter were hosted in a very decent room with amenities and quality up to 4 stars standard.
Given the price of both rooms was the same, I feel I was hoodwinked.

Disappointing
breakfast was ok, diversified
the issue is with the personnel, no English in the restaurant for dinner and very little for breakfast
the room was facing sun all day, there were 30 degrees Celsius when we arrived, no air conditioning no shades
the hotel overall had it's days of abuse, the doors were forces, with visible issues
the shower glass was not secured, the towel hanger dropped at some moment, it was not secured, etc.
also the staff oh boy when I communicated the request for helping with the temperature or get another room in shadows they offered a ventilator :)) when I said the ventilator will not help with the temperature they become arrogant and I had to call booking customer service, and even when I checked out earlier after one day, they came up with some fishy explanation about the email from booking that was received late and they had no person to respond and I can cancel it myself (so I won't get any refund).

Clean, big studio, great food, nice pool.. generally, pleasant stay in Bansko.
We couldn't buy anything in hotel's market because they accept just lev but the Exchange office in hotel never worked and there is no other place close to the hotel where it is possible to change money, so we had to go to the city center (2km away) for that.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds, excellent mountain view if you are in the right room, good restaurant with reasonable prices for Bansko, Finnish sauna was nice.
Unfortunately there was just one tennis table and due to an upcoming conference, it couldn’t be used.
The indoor swimming pool was nasty, and except for the Finnish sauna, all others SPA amenities were kind of deteriorated.

Good location walking distance from the slopes
We arranged airport pick up took us 20 mins to find the driver then he was fighting with us saying we was 4 people when we were only too.
When we got to the vehicle it was a mini bus and we had requested a car.
The room was so hot and wasn't able to cool it. Had to keep the balcony door open all night.
There was no water in the fridge the bathroom shower leaked water all over so was super slippery.
Breakfast was basic no black tea available
We went for dinner one evening in the restaurant main course arrived first and the wrong order then the starts but was missing items.
We ask for takeaway for my friend that was not feeling well in the room and was given to us during our meal so we had to leave to take it as they would deliver to the room.
