Exceptional
The general atmosphere and our rooms; the breakfast and restaurant - the kind attention to detail and the nice bar staff. There's also the sweet garden area where you can have a drink and the whole place is surrounded by trees. It's a lovely place to stay and although, as long-time regulars to Spa we also enjoy staying in the town itself on some trips as it's always busy with markets etc... on others Balmoral suits us very well to relax and unwind and easy to get to the Thermes which is a short drive down the road.
We like everything.

The breakfast was chaotic, no place to sit a lack of delegation, no staff to be honest I was very disappointed because we enjoyed the spa and dinner!

Good sized room and well fitted bathroom with an excellent hot shower. Excellent breakfast choices ,well presented. Friendly and helpful staff at reception and in the dining room/bar.
Breakfast was in my room rate but others thought it was expensive albeit very tasty. The toaster took ages and even then it hardly browned the toast. Only one English speaking TV channel CNN .

lovely staff and atmosphere
there's no staff keeping an eye on the swimming pool; it wasn't clean.
I saw (adult) guests getting straight in the pool without having showered first
besides, they have a no children policy in the pool area which is discriminatory and unjustified.

Amazing rooms and so close to the the restaurant and bar and spa if it was needed. Will be strongly recommending Radisson Blu Balmoral to other customers for future tours. Even though our stay was only one night we was looked after very well by the staff.
Nothing bad about this Hotel in Belgium.

Lovely hotel, room was very spacious comfortable quiet and clean. Hotel staff were all amazing very friendly and accommodating. Hotel restaurant was great also very accommodating for my allergies to gluten and also times for reservations for dinner. Highly recommend and will be back hopefully.

The best part is the bar and the bartender in the evening. The staff at the reception is very understanding and great to find solutions. My room was vey comfortable.
The hotel have implemented a fee of 9 euro for parking. The breakfasts selection has gone down and price increased to 26 euro. All of these fee are optional, and free parking can found and cafes serve great breakfast for less in the area.

Overall, the hotel was very nice (apart from our first room) and the staff professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good and the dinner we had in the attached restaurant was good value.
Our room was upgraded on arrival which should have been a good thing. When we opened the door, we were meet with a horrible smell that was sort of damp and musty, I opened the windows thinking maybe it just needed airing out and we went down for dinner, I mentioned it to reception and they agreed it would clear. When, we went back to the room it had mostly gone but once we closed the window and went to bed the smell started to come back. I did not sleep well at all due to it and in the morning my wife said she had got used to it but when she came out of the bathroom it hit her again. We had an event to be at so I spoke to reception as we were leaving and they advised they would get housekeeping to see if they could do anything to improve it before we came back in the evening and if not, they would consider moving us to another room at that point. I asked if we could be informed what housekeeping found so that we knew what we would be coming back to rather than waiting until we got back. I did get a call saying housekeeping agreed there was something wrong and that we would be re allocated a different room and this would be ready when we got back, which it was. No form of apology was offered which is a big disappointment especially considering the cost of the room and it is concerning that a room with that bad a smell and problem had been given to us, I'm sure there was a bigger issue with the room that must have been noticed by staff before we were given it.
