Wonderful
Great room with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Great location, in a quiet area but a short walk to restaurants and beach.

This annex hotel is away from the main hotel. You have to walk there for breakfast.
It also does not have a lobby with seating availability.

Disappointing
Location is good!
The hotel has no reception, the reception is in the Prado hotel, which might be the reason for staffs disinterest and apathy.
The room was average and livable.
However, the pillows were dirty and smelled funny.
There were stains on the bedside table.
Booked a room with no view, so wasnt expecting much tbh. But! The room was on the first floor, which is only considered to be the first floor... as you enter the balcony you have a ground floor roof just half a meter below you. Not even talking about the building right across. Doesnt make you feel comfortable or safe. Plus no daylight in the room because of this.
When asked for a different room on a higher floor (straight after check in) the lady on reception was not very helpful as she was busy flirting with another customer. First she confused me with someone else, as she was thinking Im on the sixth floor, which is the highest floor available due to the fact that she didnt ask for my room number and did not remember me even though she just checked me in. As we figured out my room number - Apparently, No other rooms were available... No solution was offered, issue was not resolved.
On another note, location is good.
Pretty sure rooms on higher floors are better.

Wonderfully spacious room. Comfortable bed. Nice staff. Good service. Fantastic location, very close to the beach. It was pretty quiet as well.
The shower could have been cleaner. Also, the room was quite hot and I couldn't figure out how to turn the heating down.

Hotel is perfectly located 5 minutes slow walk from the beach and Casino. The room has a fresh and modern design. The common areas may be too narrow and claustrofobic for some but it is reasonably well compensated with good lighting. Nice breakfast served in the main Hotel Prado 1-2 minutes walk from PND. I truly liked 2 specials: 1) Discounted train ticket = no car hassle; Oh, be aware, it takes 2 tram stops from the station to the hotel (so, if you travel with a lot of luggage, small kids, etc., the tram is a nice option to a 15 minutes walk). 2) A wooden bench at the PND entrance door.
Elevator - very small and without interior door = not practical if you travel with loads of luggage & not particularly safe if travelling with small children (not saying it does not meet the safety regulations, just it is not what you would expect in Belgium of 2022);

Very Good
Very quiet hotel. Location is excellent, in city center next to the shopping streets, restaurants and only a few minutes walk distance to the beach. The owner is very respectful and the staff are friendly.
Parking is available through the hotel for a fair price.
For the price paid the room could have been bigger.
Cleaning service was ok but should have been better.

The room was beautiful and very reflective of the pictures on the site. Location was fantastic - close to the town and beach - and yet tucked away, so, super quiet. No noise from other guests as the rooms have been thoughtfully laid out. Staff were fabulous, particularly Mathias, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfy and bathroom was lovely - with a great shower. Great coffee machine. Powerful wifi. Great parking close by and able to park up close to the hotel to drop off bags etc.
Air con was noisy and ineffective - but this didn't affect our stay as it wasn't too hot.

Before my boyfriend and I booked this hotel, we read some of the reviews and were a little sceptical. However, once we got there, we couldn't understand the negative things some people wrote about the hotel and it's rooms. Firstly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Secondly, our room was just perfect. The decor and interior was also very pretty which made you feel directly welcome. You could qualify the rooms as a little small, but tbh that makes them even more cozy. The placement is also very nice, you're close to everything! I would totally recommend this hotel when visiting Oostende, because the price is more than okay for what you're getting.
