Pleasant
The hotel is in an excellent location close to the beach. Free parking is available in the street from 8PM onwards but at a cost of EUR22 the hotel provides you with a parking pass to a large underground car park which is less than 1 minute away. There are loads of restaurants in the area. The hotel staff is friendly, the breakfast buffet was good.
Our room (408) was very big but outdated. It was a hot day and whilst the hotel is airconditioned, our room was not. The staff had put a mobile cooler in our room, but it didn't really cool down much (it has seen better days!). The shower was good but leaked signficantly so we had to use towels to put on the floor. As it was so hot we had to leave the window open which meant that, being so close to the promenade and cafes / bars, we had a lot of noise from people walking passed until 2AM. This is not the hotel's fault but it might be worth bringing ear plugs. Lastly, one of the beds had a leg missing at the feet. As my kids are still young, it didn't really bother but a grown up would have certainly tipped to one side!

Exceptional
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. The location was excellent and very close to the beach. We had a lovely family stay.
Nothing in particular. We were happy with our stay.

Disappointing
The hotel is located near the beach. Breakfast and spa area are nice.
The parking place which we had reserved (reservation confirmed) near the hotel was awarded to other people.
Everywhere in the hotel there are small defects, it seems no maintenance is being done.
Although we paid a premium price, the room was outdated. It needs to be stripped and completely renovated.
We would not recommend staying in Hotel Bero.

Disappointing
The sauna was okay
The receptionist was rude and unprepared. I made a parking reservation which they confirmed in advance, but when I arrived they didn't have any parking cards left. I asked about the spa area, and the receptionist gave me the wrong instructions.
The bed frame had one of its legs broken. The shower doors were broken, and the coffee maker was dirty. Even the capsules were destroyed on the outside. The floor was dirty, and some toilet amenities were missing. Literally a two star hotel at maximum.

Poor
Location, breakfast and the effort of the receptionist.
The hotel is poor. The swimming pool is depressive (nobody was using it). Not a nice atmosphere on the common areas. Internet was not working (they were trying to solve, but then again I pay for it,right?), elevator also stopped working. Bad smell on the corridors. Breakfast was good but the tables were all messy and not cleaned for at least 40 minutes. Feels abandoned. This is far from 4 stars.

Room with window facing a wall. Very dated yet functional. Daily cleaning service very superficial.

Lovely hotel in good location nice room
Would be good to have extra towels if you are using swimming pool as don’t want to make ones in room wet, we’re given towels when we asked no problem . The swimming pool water was a little bit on the old side but we enjoyed it
