This 16th-century former convent offers 4-star facilities and an attractive interior only 919 feet from the Oude Markt in the historic center of Leuven. It was a real challenge to find the hotel. Although in the time of booking i was seeing a complementary breakfast, it was not offered. The staff at reception was not very polite. The price was extortinate for what is being offered.

Nice quiet street where the hotel was at.
Worn out room, dirty bathroom (some areas not cleaned in years, water damage on ceiling) and no bracket to hold the shower head?!

Great location and lovely staff.
The radiator on the wall in the shower cubicle was covered in rust at the bottom and there were so many dirty marks/scuff marks on all the walls you felt it was dirty - the room needs to be repainted. Feedback had been provided to management via their surveys, but no response, so adding my comments here.

Breakfast (£25 per day) and staff were nice. The location was good.
I was allocated a room in a separate building and had to walk in the street to reach the main hotel. The room was rather dark, small and overcrowded to the degree that I struggled to open the fridge. Also, the majority of the English-speaking channels are not working on the TV. This made me angry. Not sure why that hotel was given its stars status. I feel is not good value for money.

Relaxing atmosphere, nice bar and friendly breakfast staff. Very large room.
Seemed a little dated compared to other Belgian hotels we have visited on this trip, stained carpet, no usb ports etc.

Very stylish hotel right in the centre of a buzzy town. Helpful and friendly staff.
We stayed on a very hot day and the air conditioning struggled which was apparently down to teething problems with a new system.
