Wonderful
Value for money. Location - just over the street from the beautiful Arenberg castle. Good breakfast.
The wooden floor in the room made noise - it's a bit of heritage site so I understand. They have modern rooms as well, but they felt secluded and missed the actual charm of the place.

The location of this property is exceptional, being so close to the forest and the castle made for a very scenic stay. Additionally, the room itself was beautifully designed and decorated; the aesthetic and layout were exactly what we were looking for.
Unfortunately, the experience was significantly marred by a lack of cleanliness and poor service, which was disappointing given the €209 per night price tag. Cleanliness: Upon checking in, the room was not properly cleaned. We found hair throughout the room, including pubic hair on the bedside table, which is completely unacceptable. Breakfast Area: The breakfast room felt neglected. The walls had visible food splatters, and some surfaces were thick with dust. Service: When we arrived for breakfast, the staff was quite abrupt, simply telling us, "There’s no space for you, all the tables are taken, and you have to wait." At this price point, we expected a more welcoming approach, perhaps being offered a seat at the bar or a drink order while waiting, rather than being made to feel like an inconvenience during a busy period.

The staff were all so friendly and happy to help. The breakfast was very nice and had a good selection. The bed was ridiculously large and comfortable, the room was spacious and the bathroom was large as well. Very close to transport and well connected. Very clean, beautiful to look at.

The on site restaurant was nice but should have allowed me to put this on the room,.....they said it wasn't possible??
When the restaurant closes & they close up there isn't a small resident lounge to carry on & have a talk or further drink.

The room was really large though, so even with the heater is was a bit chilly during the night. The room was also very dark, so since I had to work, I moved to the restaurant for several hours. It's a pity on both accounts as the room was large and nice, but I could not use it.
