The location
Very dirty, very uncomfortable. Floor looked like a literal crime scene. Bathroom towels always wet and with holes.

The location could not be better the staff are very friendly and helpfull the price was resonable the room I had was quite spacious but a little dated I was informed that they are goung to up date the rooms, breakfast was OK and the well stocked bar was very good if I came back to Leuven I would book it again .
It was a bit noisy at night so if you want quiet its not for you, the towels are changed often but some are past their use by date, stairs are a bit dimly lit and it is dull by the lift at the ground level.

I liked the position of the place since it is quite located in the main center of the Leuven city. Moreover, the chance of communicating in English was appreciated, instead of using a translator.
Many things went bad. I would like to start with cleaning of the room since none efforts were made. In almost one week of stay no cleaning was performed in the room, in my opinion is not acceptable, since there should be the chance to change at least the towels. Then, we were facing problems with the bathroom since no soap was present. Moreover, the shower was giving only super-hot water and no cold water was working. In addition to all those issues, the breakfast was served since 8 AM, hence it was quite difficult to match with our schedule, since we went to Leuven for a Conference. I would like also to add the problem regarding the door of our room: since the door was quite old, despite the door was closed it was still a bit moving and making noise during night.

Amazing location and lovely windows. My room, #5, is a large corner room on 3rd floor with five large windows. While all decor and fittings are vintage 70s, it’s clean and has a bit of retro charm despite the mostly no longer working fluorescent lights.
There is no shower, just a tub with a hose, with no fitting to hang it on, that’s about it. A fair bit of noise getting in to the room from the street and the door to the corridor, is made from vintage cardboard and have corresponding sound insulation properties, but this will only trouble the lightest of sleepers.

Super noisy! It is not something the hotel can do about, but you should know that all the area around it is full of bars and restaurants, people are screaming all the night long and you will hear it even if your windows are closed And you will also hear your neighbor opening the door I was sleeping with my headphones on

Everi! Best hotel in Leuven! Located practically in the (in)famous Grote Markt, a place away from home after an evening of barhopping you will find a comfy bed, friendly employees and the best cocktails in Leuven! Definitely a stay, to enjoy.

Great for a stag night or something because of the location, but it was just awful. Filthy, falling apart and the elevator was like something from a horror movie.

Location was great, in the city centre with loads of facilities around. The cocktail bar downstairs was amazing! Wonderful staff in the hotel (same as in the bar). Thank you!

the bar down the hotel was the only thing that was nice
you can’t sleep bcs of the people who stay up whole night the room was so old that you couldn’t tell if it was clean or not there is no free parking and even with payment you need to park in a public parking like 5 min away
