Cute, clean little room Amazing breakfast, restaurant bathing in morning sun Filtered water prepared in the fridge Location is just across the railway station and at the beginning of main roads Feels like a family business - no faceless crowd of guests My room was available before official check in time (otherwise luggage storage is offered)
The one issue I had was that the daily service was done in my room (things rearranged, wardrobe opened) when I had explicitly asked for skipping it. The reception handled my complaint well. —— I got lunch pack for the last morning for my super early departure which was a GESTURE from their side. It had some fruit wrapped up one by one . Sandwiches however had one single slice of ham and nothing else (not even spread) which surprised me after their high-quality breakfast.

Location is very ideal.
Unfortunately when we traveled there was a heatwave. We knew from beforehand that our room ha no ac but when we asked if we could have at least a fan, staff told us that they did not have any. They just told us to open the windows, which we did but the heat was unbearable. To make matter worse there was Belgium playing during the World Cup at early in the morning and the bar next to the hotel was still open with loads of people shouting and we had to keep our windows open. We slept nothing. Hotel management knew that there was going to be a heatwave, the least they could do is provide some sort of fans.

Room was comfortable, spacious and clean.
It was mentioned when booking that there was no aircon, but there was a fan. The fan didn't work and the overnight temperature was about 26c. The hairdryer didn't work either The card in the room said breakfast started at 07.00. I went down at that time and it was still being set up. The man said it started at 07.30. I also ended up paying the city tax twice. My own fault perhaps, but in a normal hotel they would know rather than ask if you've paid (I had but forgot). Check-in was dealt with by the restaurant staff who were clearing up when I arrived.

We liked the room which was clean and very comfortable and the fact that we had a front room with views overlooking the square.
We didn’t like the fact that the tables at breakfast were so close together it was difficult for some people to get in and out at various points.

Rooms are quiet when windows are closed and even sound coming from nearby bars doesn't really disturb. Fans were available to keep temperature comfortable. Bed room was spacious and mini bar with cold water or to cool anything during summer is nice. TV with many cable channels was fine but small by today standards. De Klimop restaurant on ground floor is quite good and you get a lot to eat for the price. Staff made me a special breakfast package the day before since I had to leave early for an operation, appreciated ! Bath room with douche was modern. It was a nice stay.
Tv remote batteries were dead, but this was swiftly solved by helpful staff. TV a bit small but worked fine with many cable channels.

It was a small room at the front of the hotel, one floor up. The view to the square and railway station was nice. It suited my basic needs very well. The staff were very helpful at all times. The included breakfast was superb with lots of choices. Being across the square 100m from Leuven station is a big bonus. I was able to store my bag and walk to wonders of Leuven hours before checkng in.
It suited my needs which are basic. The ability to make a cup of tea in the room would have been welcome.

Friendly staff Good breakfast, many different salads Calm (I have the room at the back) Good location Quite clean, nice room, everything needed and comfortable. Adjustable light and fan!
Some occasional hairs and dirty floor in an area but nothing dramatic. The view was of a roof area between buildings (albeit a bit green) so I would not really call it garden view but it was ok.
