Breakfast was nice.
Paid €10 as per their online check in page for "early" check in. Waste of money! Normal check in is 3pm. I tried to check in at 2:30, since I'd paid. No such luck. 3:45 and no joy still, and we were tired and annoyed. When we complained, again, they moved us to another room. On the top of the building. SO many steps to the top when you are already tired! And no view, unless you stepped up on a ledge as the window was so high up. Then we tried to have a meal and of 4 of us only 1 got what they ordered. But after waiting more than an hour to get anything at all to eat, we just took what they gave us. Meals were OK. but they are astoundingly slow to give you what you didn't want. Not staying, or eating here again.

The location is great. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The hotel is clean and well kept even if it is in an old building. The rooms are quiet, clean and cozy. The breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful.

Great breakfast buffet, good location just opposite the station. Room was nice enough.
The shower in my room was only luke warm, not warm enough to be able to stand under it to have a shower. The staff said a plumber was due to look at it, but it was like that for both nights I was there. In the end, the best they could offer is to try to find me an empty room the following morning where I could use the shower, as the hotel was booked out. When I was checking in, I happened to talk to the people checking out of that room and they warned me that the shower wasn't warm enough. So that's at least three nights of the shower in that room not working properly. Aside from that, the whole hotel smells slightly of damp, but that may just be due to the age of the building.

The breakfast was great, staff friendly, across the street from the train station so it was a great location. And also smack dab in town so finding food was easy.
It was a bit dark. Would have been nice to be brighter. Also was very cold.

Room spacious and clean. Bathroom modern with good water pressure. Room cleaned daily. Had a mini fridge in room which was really appreciated. Ground floor is a nice restaurant. You check in there. Breakfast had many options and was a good value. Literally right across the street from the train station, with a 15 minute walk to town center. Many restaurants and pubs and a few small food stores in the area of the hotel. I would stay here again. Note: there is no elevator, so if you have trouble going up stairs with luggage, consider another option.
Some water stains on ceiling panels, but not a deal breaker.

Very centrally located near the train station. Breakfast was plentiful and offered lots of variety including yogurt, fruit, cheeses, cereal etc. The room was very comfortable, spacious and cleaned daily.

Love these guys. Breakfast option, helpful staff and just a great location and alternative to staying in Brussels.
Would love a kettle in the room, though there is access to boiling water downstairs.
