Very convenient location for travelling by train and also for exploring Leuven. Room was very small but had what I needed.
I booked to stay twice at this hotel for one night each time. The first time I had to leave before breakfast (included in price) the next morning. I had contacted the hotel about this more than three weeks in advance and they assured me I could have some breakfast to take with me. However on the morning this turned out not to be possible. I would have changed my hotel if they'd told me this in advance. The second time I booked to stay I was taken to a different hotel (Hotel Industrie) instead so I can't comment on that stay here. I should say that one flight of steps in this hotel is extremely steep to manage with luggage and there is no lift.

LOCATION: Excellent — right across from the train station with connections to all tourist cities, only 15 minutes to Brussels. Wonderful breakfast — rare to find such a good one in Europe. Polite staff. ROOM: Simple but practical, comfortable beds, and the furniture is not old.
Reception: Doesn't exist at all. We searched in the dark for about 10 minutes, couldn’t figure it out — the building has the hotel’s name, but no entrance, only the restaurant. It was really confusing. We had to go into a restaurant, and only then did the waiter tell us that the hotel entrance is actually through the restaurant, past the tables with people eating, all the way to the back. Very confusing and inconvenient. I believe the staff should have informed us in the booking message about how to check in. Room: Poor lighting — the ceiling lamp is just for decoration, and there are only weak stick-like wall lights. You can hear people showering next door, it feels like the water will pour on your head. The bathroom fan is very loud — when you go in at night, it wakes your partner. The pillows were awful, full of lumps, but after I complained, they brought new good ones the next day. The building is old — they just stuck new panels on the walls to make it look nice and modern, but forgot about the ceiling. The shower base is extremely slippery — really dangerous. No kettle or dishes in the room. We took dishes from the restaurant and went there for hot water — there’s a big coffee machine there. No elevator and a steep staircase — not pleasant at all when you have heavy suitcases.

No reception, no beforehand instructions how to enter (through a dark, closed restaurant, not obvious). Luggage can be left to the hotel only if it’s open after breakfast (random days). Room was very small (approx. under 10 square).

The location is great. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The hotel is clean and well kept even if it is in an old building. The rooms are quiet, clean and cozy. The breakfast was very good, fresh and plentiful.

The location next to the train it was good. The breakfast was nice and included.
The fact that they say you can leave you luggage before check in and we arrived 2 hours before and now one was there. They have 4 numbers you could call for someone to come, nobody answered. The tap in the bathroom made lots of noises l, it was scary. There were spider webs on the ceiling, the bed mattress was way too soft. The room was dark and small, not quite what you see in the pictures.

Great breakfast buffet, good location just opposite the station. Room was nice enough.
The shower in my room was only luke warm, not warm enough to be able to stand under it to have a shower. The staff said a plumber was due to look at it, but it was like that for both nights I was there. In the end, the best they could offer is to try to find me an empty room the following morning where I could use the shower, as the hotel was booked out. When I was checking in, I happened to talk to the people checking out of that room and they warned me that the shower wasn't warm enough. So that's at least three nights of the shower in that room not working properly. Aside from that, the whole hotel smells slightly of damp, but that may just be due to the age of the building.

an amazing location right before the train station, big spacious room with a nice view, good internet, clean and everything. Breakfast was very cool
I had to wait until 15:00 to check-in, but that's common in that part of Europe, so no issues there
