Good restaurant and breakfast, friendly people. Charming old building.
The room had a third-hand smell of cigarettes and a lot of the hotel is in a state of disrepair. One-star hotel for the price of three stars (yes, Belgium is expensive, but still...).

Top floor no lift but it was for one night so it was ok.found the room a little outdated and could of been a bit cleaner.

It’s not the first time when I’m booking a room in this hotel. And I would say it’s becoming worser and worser each time. I understand that it’s a 1-star hotel, but there a lot of questions to a cleanliness of the rooms. Last time there were a ton of smelly stains on the carpet which added a “good” atmosphere to the whole room. In general all facilities are in super bad condition: electrical outlets are partially broken, shower is almost unusable, etc. When everything is broken and dirty it should not be acceptable even in a 1-star hotel, imho. I’ll definitely will switch to another hotel for my work trips.

Hair dryer wasn't working. The hotel doesn't have a lift, with big suitcases it was not easy to go up and down the stairs

I liked leaving the hotel after 1 night.
I didn't like the mess. Bags of laundry on the hallways at 5pm and also 10am. Not an understandable cleaning cart in the morning. Old stinky bedrooms. Cracking floors. Dirty curtains. The DJ out of the single glass window. The cleaning service opening my door at 8.30am while vividly having phone conversations. On speakers mode, obviously. Frankly it's been the worst hotel I've visited in years.
