Wonderful
The room was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was very good.
Not the hotels fault but the road to the sea front was undergoing road works.

It couldn’t be closer to the train station. Leuven is quite small so even with events elsewhere in town, it didnt take long to walk there and was nice to not have to carry a suitcase so far.
It’s what you pay for. The place is just OK but it works and is comfortable for the price

The staff I spoke with was very friendly.
The room and bathroom were very unclean. The bedroom and matress especially. After I had spent the night I stripped the bed and the matress topper was covered in little brown/red spots. Unbelievable! The walls in both the bathroom and bedroom were riddled with holes. One of which was pointed directly at the bed. Upon closer inspection it didn't appear to be a peephole/camera hole, but the fact none of the holes had been filled in felt very poorly. Besides the three story walk up, the door to the room would close and lock However it would leave a slight gap. Which meant that whenever I opened the bedroom window, the draft would make the door sporadically jiggle, as if someone on the outside kept trying to come in. Very unsettling feeling.

Location is perfect. The style is very typical, and I like it very much. Rooms at first and second floors have huge windows, that are amazing. Only stairs are available to upper floors (perfectly fine for me, but useful to be know, I guess). Staff very helpful when I needed. Clean. Good breakfast.
Quite old furniture and moquette, that left some unpleasant smell in the room. Holes and sign of use in walls and furniture, that should be taken care of. In my room there were two beds, one had a really bad mattress (luckly I was alone and I could use the other one).

Convenient. Good facilities for price. Shower was good. Water on arrival a nice touch. Breakfast plentiful and fresh.
Stairs! We were on the top floor and it was just a surprise. We coped.

The restaurant was good. The breakfast was also good. The bed was comfortable.
The stairs were very dark. It was tricky as it was difficult to see where the steps on the stairs were. Our room had no hair dryer.

Finding out the hotel changed the rules and not include the breakfast, during the booking it was advertized as included, do not like these kind of surprises. Also the window of my room could not be closed due to some damage, during the freezing cold this was not ideal.
