Pleasant
Room was quiet, but on the top floor, be prepared to climb a number of stairs with your luggage to finally get there. room has all you need and an comfy bed. decent breakfast buffet with everything you might like.
Finding out the hotel changed the rules and not include the breakfast, during the booking it was advertized as included, do not like these kind of surprises. Also the window of my room could not be closed due to some damage, during the freezing cold this was not ideal.

I had the fortune to get the appartment to stay in, this made the stay very comfortable. i could also use the very good breakfast buffet. Location cannot be better in Leuven, very central and easy parking at the bunt.

It’s not the first time when I’m booking a room in this hotel. And I would say it’s becoming worser and worser each time. I understand that it’s a 1-star hotel, but there a lot of questions to a cleanliness of the rooms. Last time there were a ton of smelly stains on the carpet which added a “good” atmosphere to the whole room. In general all facilities are in super bad condition: electrical outlets are partially broken, shower is almost unusable, etc. When everything is broken and dirty it should not be acceptable even in a 1-star hotel, imho. I’ll definitely will switch to another hotel for my work trips.

definitely do not recommend staying here. we had bedbugs in our bed which caused us to have to leave the room at 3am in search of another accommodation. when we came back in the morning to properly check out since the reception isnt 24/7, we complained about the bedbugs and were told we would get a refund. it has now been over a month since our stay and we still havent gotten our money back. the hotel is ignoring our emails, calls and booking disputes. save yourself from the infamous travelers nightmare and stay elsewhere.

Room is spacious, clean for everything, water works nice, location is super nice and checkin/out was easy
No accessibility options for heavy baggage, since I have to drag my baggage by hand upstairs. Smaller complaint, no microwave

After 80 years, this hotel is still running strong. The age makes some corners look a bit run-down, but the friendly staff, great location and good restaurant make up for it. The breakfast was fantastic. A large buffet with fresh fruit, bread, cereal - great variety. Comfortable setting in a large dining room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. While gluten-free bread should be ordered the day ahead, the staff managed to produce two buns within 20 minutes. The location is literally 1 minute from the train station, making it an excellent option to work in Brussels and enjoy the city of Leuven at night.
I missed some air conditioning on the hottest day of the year in Belgium, which made the room very hot. Luckily a fan was provided. I suppose airco is not necessary during most of the year though.

Staff at Hotel Industrie were so helpful. Taking care of my luggage when I arrived prior to check-in time, and providing breakfast before the buffet officially opened so I could make my early train. I also liked the quirky fit-out of the Hotel - it feels like you are really staying somewhere special even though it is not an expensive hotel.
The water takes a long time to heat up, but patience is rewarded if you just keep waiting - a lovely hot shower will happen!

I've been asking an invoice for a week and they are not answering my e-mail, even if they told me on the phone that this is the only way to receive it. I remarked on the phone call that this is urgent but my reasonable request has been, in practical terms, ignored.

The hotel is located just opposite the main train station and within the walking distance from the city center. The room was very clean and warm, the shower worked well (sadly, there was no hairdryer). Buffet breakfast was very good, and in the evening we enjoyed the dinner and drinks in the restaurant which is part of the hotel. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The curtains were really good and provided complete darkness in the room. The bed was a bit too soft, but for a couple of nights it is suitable. We had a nice stay for 2 nights.
