Exceptional
A wonderful example of the care and thought that has gone into restoring and modernizing what is, at the very least, a 17th century residence. Each morning I'd go for a run through the the KU Leuven sports complex before returning to an excellent breakfast. The property has a large garden where one can sit and do a little reading or engage in some general contemplation on life. Excellent WiFi, I came in for a conference and could do all the work I needed to do. And the host has an incredible knowledge of Leuven and Belgium history - I spent hours chatting with him. And excellent taste in music!

Michel was a very friendly and welcoming host who did everything to make sure that we were comfortable and seemed genuinely interested to chat. The historic house has been beautifully restored to offer exceptional accommodation. Our room was large, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfasts were a real treat with exotic fruit, delicious bread and varied cheeses as well as sweet delicacies. Exceptional food, all attractively prepared and served with great care and attention to detail.
There was nothing that we did not like about this guesthouse. It might be worth mentioning that the stairs are quite steep if that is a problem.
