We had a wonderful stay at Novotel Gent Centrum while celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Ghent, and we really enjoyed the beautiful view from our room. The staff were friendly and the room service was very good. We especially appreciated the lovely surprise for our anniversary: a bottle of red wine and a card waiting for us in the room. It was a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. Thank you! ?
We didn’t experience any issues during our stay. Everything went smoothly and we were very satisfied.

I stayed foe one night and had booked two rooms, on arrival i was told that my rooms will be ready by 1430 hrs, when we again arrived at 1430 hrs the rooms were not yet ready, Finally when we got the room - one room was a family room and another normal.
If this was the case the reception should have advised that and allotted one FAMILY room instead of two separate rooms.
No body lotion or cream in rooms.

There is no other place to be in the center of the city! Amazing location, nice room and super-nice staff. Plus you can have your dog and your kids (and you) can use the pool in the courtyard. All this for an affordable value. We will stay here next time for sure. While they offer on-site parking, our car with a rooftop box could not fit in - but the staff provided a list of available P+R parking places (which are free!). It took some time to commute but we were able to park temporarily with the car on arrival and on departure at the hotel which made the whole trip and stay very convenient.

The biggest strength of this hotel is its excellent location. It is situated right in the heart of Ghent's city center, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a pleasant stay. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and the receptionist was particularly helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
Unfortunately, there were a few issues that affected our stay. In the bathroom, there was no shampoo provided. Instead, there was one bottle of shower gel and two bottles of conditioner. The labels were facing the wall, making it difficult to identify the products. I am not sure whether this was intentional, but it seemed like an oversight that I would not normally expect at this level of hotel.
There was also a safety concern with the elevator. A small metal piece was protruding from the interior, and my husband accidentally cut his arm on it. We reported the issue to the hotel staff, and I hope it will be addressed promptly to prevent similar incidents for other guests.

The location was excellent, in the very center of Ghent. The room was clean, the parking was underground and safe, only for larger vehicles like SUVs it was a bit problematic to maneuver.
A huge complaint and dissatisfaction with the air conditioning system that did not cool at all while the temperature outside reached 38 degrees Celsius. Only one small window that could only be opened a few centimeters. In general, a hotel like this cannot afford such shortcomings.

Centrally located in beautiful city of Ghent, walking distance to everything! Superb value with lovely facility, spacious rooms, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, groovy lounge bar, open air terrace .... all that and a swimming pool! 10/10, would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.
More variety of bevi selections in their front desk beverage cooler. Beer is great, but so are sparkling wines.

Very well located hotel, clean, and the staff are really nice and friendly. The rooms are quite big and comfortable.
The only problem was the pressure of the water in the bathroom, and the sink was draining slowly. Overall, it was a very good stay at Novotel Gent Centrum.

Very pet friendly……had treats and dog bowls set up when we checked into our room. Great coffee and tea in the lobby. Serda was exceptionally friendly.
Pillows were too hard and when I requested softer pillows, they didn’t have them.

It was very clean and comfortable, location was perfect.
Staff was rude and careless. Waited so long for checkin. The worst thing was heating, it was very cold at night, event though we asked them how to warm to room and made all the arrangements for air conditioner it didnt worked and probably we’ll be cold because of this.

They could clean the shower door rubber seal, the shower pressure was terrible, need the shower head to be replace.
