Having stayed in NH Collection hotels previously, we knew it would be a nice experience, but this hotel was exemplar! From the ease of finding the underground garage, to the check in, and getting into our room, all was wonderful. The hotel is the perfect location for visiting the old city with easy walking, plenty of restaurants, and admiring the beauty of the architecture. The staff were wonderful! They were friendly, smiling, helpful, and interested in us. We frequented the bar for pre-dinner aperitifs, enjoying the comfortable and cozy area. We had a premium room that was large, clean and comfortable! The breakfast had many options with made to order features available as well. This hotel was a highlight we hadn't fully expected.

The room was huge and I had almost perfect silence even as early as 9pm.
The bed was comfortable, with a choice between 3 types of pillow.
The location is fantastic for visiting the city.
The shower controls are almost impossible to use with wet hands ;).

location
A word of caution for future guests: the hotel reception is located inside a restricted‑traffic zone. If you park directly in front of the entrance and don’t know where the parking garage is, you are fined already. I think hotel management should warn guests about this before arrival. Overall, this issue negatively affected my rating.

The location couldn't be better – right in the middle of the historic center and steps away from the major attractions and the Christmas markets. The breakfast is very good. The parking is convenient, not so many places to keep a car at in the center.
Our rooms weren't ready when we arrived even though it was after 4pm. The front desk were kind enough to offer a free breakfast in compensation, though. Otherwise, everything was quite good and up to expectations.

The breakfast was really nice. The staff at breakfast were lovely.
We were there during a busy time, and the hotel bar required another person at the bar on a Friday night. It was very hard for the woman to keep up with all the patrons orders, but she sure was working hard.
