Prompt and excellent service from the management: When we checked into our first room, we noticed an issue with the bathroom door. The staff arrived very quickly and even thoughtfully suggested to change the room and handled the switch in no time. Afterwards, the manager personally came up to ensure everything was perfect and gifted us some Belgian chocolates as an apology. The management's quick response was highly impresseive. Outstanding breakfast and staff at restaurant: Wide variety of fruits, hot plates, different types of yogurts including Greek yogurt, fresh juices, daily Chef special Belgium desserts have served. One of the best breakfast I have among the European hotels I have visited. The restaurant staff and chef are very nice and professional. Lobby facilities: Complimentary fruit-infused cold water and candies are available in the hotel lobby. It is a very thoughful gesture, especially durinng the hot weather in July. Thank you all the staff for your outstanding service! Will come back again if we visit Gent in the future!

Very nice decor, excellent location, and amazing breakfast. Unfortunately our room got flooded from a leak above, but none of our stuff was damaged and the hotel staff immediately moved us into a suite so no complaints here. Dealt with fast and extremely professionally.

The hotel looked real nice, the premium room was spacious, clean and quite. The location is excellent, right next to the most notable historical places. I really loved the breakfasts, the selection was very wide so I could try different things each day.
For my taste the bed was a bit too soft, but that's up to personal preference.

I liked the property and our upgraded room. The breakfast was one of the best ever.
Rooms were comfortable. Despite being in a bust section of town it was quiet. Very nice bar staff.

The AC it was hard to sleep even with windows open trying to get some air we were sweating, my husband asked to have it checked twice not sure anything was done we never heard back

The room was super spacious and had ample amenities included. The breakfast was really delicious and had a lot of options. The hot dishes you can order in the breakfast buffet are really good. The chef and the staff deserve a special mention for sure. The location is very central to the old town (next to the old city hall) and easy to reach by car.
