Hotel Staff was very kind and let us check in a bit early after a long travel day. Staff also carried my heavy luggage up the stairs without asking which was very kind. Location: off on a quiet street but still close to the city center. Everything is walking distance! Room: I stayed in a twin bedroom that was very nice with beautiful wooden beams and access to a rooftop sitting area. Since the room has such high vaulted ceilings it takes an awhile to heat the room, the first night I was freezing because I couldn’t find the heater. Second night I found the thermostat in the room and it was much better. The room I was in was clean and roomy and perfect for a stay while exploring the city. The hotel itself is very nice with modern decor and cool designs. The Hotel staff also gave personalized recommendations on food and things to do that was very thorough and informative. If you are mobility impaired I would choose somewhere else or request the ground floor as there is a very tight and steep spiral staircase to get to your room. Overall good stay I felt very safe and I would recommend to anyone saying in Ghent

The hotel is near the city centre and in walking distance. The staff was very helfpful. They helped me carry my luggage upstairs, eventhough I could manage, but they insisted. And cleaned the room and changed towels eventhough I was staying there only 2 nights. Also a major plus in my books is the many pillows the room had. As someone who sleeps with atleast 3 pillows, having 6 in the room was a win.
At first I didn't find the bed comfortable, they are so soft. But I managed and was able to sleep well. The room is also rather small, for 1 person it is good, but with 2 people the room would be too cramped

to Anna and Yevgeniya (Jenya) who were incredibly helpful with everything: luggage, parking, and giving us great recommendations on where to eat and what to see. They were very friendly and always smiling. Thank you both for making our stay so pleasant!

Super friendly and helpful staff which is a huge plus. Great location easy access to river stroll and busy center. Nice cosy and historical hotel, not the best newest 5 star hotel but has its own uniqueness.

Very helpful staff - in particular Svitlana. Excellent both before we arrived and during our stay. We had 7 rooms altogether for 3 nights and no issues.
The coffee machine in our room was not very pleasant and unused. There was water already in the water holder but it was green looking and not very nice. It looked like it had been there a long time.

The staff was very friendly. The lady at the front desk had great English skills in communicating with us. She also offered and helped carry a couple bags up with us to our room. We forgot her name but she was blonde. Location was in a great spot being only a 3 minute walk from the tram stop and right near downtown. 5-10 minute walk to the Christmas markets and stone cathedrals. Lots of food places and chocolate shops everywhere. Area is super walkable and luggage wasnt too hard navigating the streets with them. Beds were very comfy and we fell asleep fast after a long day of walking. Would come back again!
No A/C but we were able to open the windows to let cool air through. It really did cool off the room at night.

The staff was especially courteous. They were very prompt and went out of their way to open doors and accommodate me and my young child wherever possible.
The breakfast was a little more pricey than I am used to at other hotels but it convenient and provided good options.
