Very nice hotel staff. The room is very comfortable and newly renovated.
There were renovations going on, and the heating/cooling wasn’t working. I think the hotel should have warned us beforehand, the room got very hot at night.

The beds were large and comfortable and the room was very specious for the price.
There were spots on the bathroom ceiling (maybe from cleaning off mold), and the tub was very slippery when taking a shower. The door hands inside the room also fell off randomly when using them, there was loud construction, and the room was cold with no working thermostat to turn up the heat.

It is difficult to access the city center, and it is inconvenient without a car. The air conditioner was not working, and the room was cold. There was no prior explanation about the malfunction, and after I contacted the front desk, they brought an electric heater, which finally allowed me to sleep.
The front desk staff were very inefficient, and the check-in process took 20 minutes.

-Parking was easy but expensive. Close to daily parking price in the downtown.
-Room was way older than what was displayed in the photos also smaller than my expectation.

Everything was fair and was as expected.
We were unlucky to have construction workers walking outside our window on first morning. There are lot of lamps but limited sockets to plug in.

The room was very spacious, lots of hanging space for clothes and the bathroom was everything we needed. There was plenty of car parking and we were minutes walking distance from the tram that took us to the centre of Gent which was very easy to navigate.
Not all the lamps worked in the bedroom and the fridge door was hanging off its hinges which looked a bit shabby. We were only able to get 1 x channel on the TV. The choice at breakfast was quite limited and basic but perfectly edible. The food in the evening was not so great, I would say that this would be one area where the hotel could improve.
