Breakfast was wonderful. We did that every day. Annie and Christoff were warm and super helpful, providing directions, offering suggestions, and arranging a car on our final day.
If they could have arranged for less rain during our stay, that would have been nice , but as several people said welcome to Belgium!

This is an old house with very poor soundproofing. I was in a ground floor room, next to the entrance and it was extremely noisy. I was underneath the kitchen or breakfast room, which meant constant noise from footsteps above, even to the point of causing the lights to flicker from the vibrations through the ceiling and walls. People were coming and going all night long which meant I was repeatedly woken up between midnight and 3am and then again just before 7 when the breakfast noise started. I was here for work and the constant noise meant it was impossible to concentrate in the room and the lack of sleep made the next day a challenge too. Note that this is not a hotel, it a house that has been converted and is run by the owner. This meant that there was no staff present when I arrived, although the owner did buzz me in and come fairly quickly.

Provision of hot water kettle and coffee mc should be there. In bathrooms ,towels kept in basket most inconvenient. Hotel location in alley,very secluded....though near tourist attractions. No lifts in hotel...inconvenient for seniors with luggage.

charming old building and design of the rooms shared area combination of old and new terrace on the 3rd floor host was very helpful

The building was renovated recently and was well-appointed but also kept a lot of old-world charm. The location was ideal for exploring the old town of Ghent. The room was large and the artwork throughout the hotel was unique and interesting. A salon with comfortable furnishings and an outdoor terrace provided nice communal spaces to relax. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and featured tasty homemade cakes and jams.
Due to being an older building, some of the steps were a little hard to see, you have to watch where you are going!

Beautiful character property - lovely artistic touches - amazing suite - the comfiest bed - had such a good sleep each night. Big walk in shower. Loved having a sitting area to relax and the balcony was an added bonus. Homemade cake everyday with tea and coffee and a fresh fantastic breakfast with homemade yoghurts, bread etc. Lovely friendly owners on hand for tips and advice. Highly recommend.

The attention to detail both in the interior and customer service was excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable and stylish with places to relax and a large bedroom, we felt very welcomed and looked after. Breakfast - the food was delicious lots of choice of a high quality and eggs made to order.

Absolutely beautiful spaces, lovely clean and comfortable room, kind and attentive proprietors, delicious and abundant breakfast, super comfortable bed. We were so happy with our stay and hope to book again on our next visit to Gent!

Very well done renovation with nice classic rooms and very friendly staff. in the old town so all sites are less than 10 minutes walking distance but the room is super quiet
Unfortunately it is not possible to do a really early breakfast, being before 7 o clock on week days. Having the coffee and tea facilities in a sitting room is nice but I prefer to have this in my room.

We had a wonderful stay at Ganda Rooms and Suites and really enjoyed the city of Ghent. We used it as a home base to visit Ypres and Bruges, both of which we'd highly recommend, but Ghent was our favorite city in Belgium. Annik & Kristof are wonderful hosts, and their home is beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfast with fresh baked bread, meats, muesli, fruit, and eggs made to order. We would highly recommend a stay here
