Our host was perfect! He really thought of a lot of extras that made our visit special. Fruit and nut dish, free bikes to use, local visitor information, full kitchen, and a very comfortable space. Easy walking distance to nearby shops, or a bit further to reach Ghent City Center. We really loved our stay there and highly recommend.

The Penthouse Apartment is lovely, very well designed, spotlessly clean and with everything you need for a stay in Ghent. The lift is great, no need to lug your suitcase or groceries upstairs and there’s a lovely view from the kitchen windows. The apartment is very light, even in the winter, but was also warm and cosy with adjustable heating. There’s also air conditioning for the warmer months! Dirk is a great host, who obviously enjoys the building and his beautiful city, and offers plenty of useful information on arrival. The apartment is in a good location, quiet but close to everything.

Fantastic flat everything you could need Inc air conditioning and a lift so no stairs . Check in was easy Dirk the host explained everything and gave us good tips on where to go for sightseeing and shopping. Would be my first choice when I return to Gent

Comfortable well equipped top floor apartment with stunning views, lift access, Dirk the host greeted us and showed us around and spent time explaining the sights on a pre highlighted map , great recommendations and a very likeable guy, don’t hesitate this is our 41 st apartment booking on this trip and is in the top 3 !

Property has great location near the city center and a public garage. Host, Dirk was great. He explained me everything about city locations and he even prepared map with markings of bakery, markets, shops and routes throughout the city. Also, I have received basket with fruits and a small bottle of champagne. The great thing are the bikes in apartment that I used to ride through the city. I had a great time. Thanks Dirk!

Very friendly welcome from Dirk, who was a mine of information. The flat was very well equipped, everything had been thought of. Particularly good for clothes storage. Liked the toilet being separate from the bathroom. Extremely useful to have 20 minutes free parking (with ticket from machine) outside the accommodation, and a lift for loading and unloading. The car park was very close by, and great value.
It was very quiet when we were staying, heard one person coming and going on one occasion; no external noise.
We enjoyed walking to all our destinations. Some great local bars for a drink on the way "home".
Minor points!
Had to move a few things in the kitchen cupboard for storage of food supplies that didn't want to be in the fridge.
Used the dishwasher and had trouble extracting a large dinner plate after the cycle had finished. I was worried I was going to break it but learned to stack at an angle!

The property was beautifully designed and equipped including an excellent kitchen. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was both cozy and airy, and very thoughtfully designed. The owner, Dirk, provided an ample supply of fresh fruit and nuts, as well as a small bottle of sparkling wine. The property was the penthouse at the top of the building, with an elevator making access very easy. The location was very convenient to the train station and many interesting sights. DIrk provided a map and recommended several places to visit.
Nothing could have been better. I had a wonderful stay.

The apartment is well-designed and all systems and appliances were functional. There is a working lift.
Host gave us a lot of helpful information but is not actually available on the premises. The neighborhood can be noisy well into the night, but it isn't really a problem on the third floor.

It is a very well designed and comfortable apartment. It contains all the conveniences and was well positioned for us between the railway station and the old town. Walking distance to everything. Dirk is an exceptional host who took time to to give us advice, maps and general knowledge of the area. The fruit bowl and piccolo of sparkling wine were greatly appreciated. Dirk also checked in during our stay to make sure everything was ok. The option to use bicycles was also an added bonus. Thank you Dirk.
