Enjoyable hotel. Nice breakfast and very friendly and helpful reception staff. Just few steps from historical center of Ghent. Very good choice, in my opinion.
Room was quite nice with stylish shower area. Though it felt quite small space inside, for example you do need to unpack your luggage, since there is no space to keep even small size suitcase open on the floor.

Great location. Easy walk to all the sites. Very quiet, even if the hotel is in the heart of the city. We had a double room (with our 13 year old son) and it was spectacular. Everything was new and clean. Very luxury feel. The staff, escpecially Jane and Robert took care of everything for us.

It was clean, newly refurbished and had the most desirable location in Ghent.
Room was beautiful but there was no thought put into actual livability. I had to store my toiletries in my suitcase each morning as the sink was tiny with no vanity and the shower had no shelf in which to place toiletries.
There was no nightstand and the closet contained only two hangers.

There aren’t words enough to explain how good is Cour St George hotel.
The location is unbeatable.
The decoration is sophisticated and also evocative of Belgium Art Noveau
Staff is extremely kind and responsive. Infrastructure - from the excellent bath to the comfortable beds - is excellent. Breakfast is tasteful and covers a wide variety of itens.
Totally recommended for families, groups or individuals.
Everything was great. Just a minor suggestion: please add something to hold soap and shampoo inside the shower cabin.

I give this place a big 10! We loved Everything. Clean. Excellent location. Staff is exceptional they made us feel welcome and cared for. Welcome note and chocolates. Sweet room with a comfy bed and nice shower. I would recommend to my friends.

Extremely loud firealarm in the night triggered without a fire… followed by lack of reaction and communication and guidance from the staff... and dubious explanations.

Staff was super nice, they did their best to compensate for how bad this hotel is otherwise. The welcome and farewell gifts were nice and thoughtful The location is very central.
The rooms are extremely small, poorly designed and uncomfortable. Some examples: there were no nightsands, no power plug anywhere near the bed, the bathroom lacked any surface (shelves or anything) where I could put my stuff, there was no soap provided at all (only bodywash for the shower). Bathroom is also very dark, with barely any lighting, which made it literally impossible to shave, I had to skip it. I travel a lot, and I have stayed in several budget hotels when no better options were available, but this is by far the worst room I've ever had, especially considering the price. Because of that, I found the rating here really misleading, so beware.

We had an amazing time at the hotel. The service and staff are exceptional. The interior is newly renovated and stylish. Going out is easy — the hotel is located on a quiet street, near tourist walking routes and restaurant streets. The breakfast room is a masterpiece.

Hands down the best hotel we’ve stayed at! The service and amenities exceeded anything we’ve experienced—even at the Ritz-Carlton.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by smiling staff and the most inviting signature scent. Waiting in our room was a thoughtful handwritten note and complimentary Belgian chocolates on the bed, such a special touch.
We were also treated to a complimentary breakfast, and it was by far the best breakfast we’ve had on this trip—better than anywhere we tried in both Paris and Belgium!
And the shower… absolutely incredible. It felt like standing beneath a waterfall in the best possible way.
This hotel truly made our stay unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

In the very center of Gand, close to absolutely everything, a great location, an old-style building just in front of the city hall,
Great breakfast, a rather good bedding, service and facilities, options for drink and dinner all around,
Very appreciated tea/coffee /hot water and a fridge in the room
rooms are VERY different - assuming there are some great ones on the upper floors and .... others .... really tired and old-fashioned (windows difficult to open / close, furnitures, carpets, bathroom) as far as compared between 2 of them I stayed on the same floor... (the second was really much more comfortable for more-than-a-night stay)
May be also a little bit noisy.... at 6 AM or regarding your neighbors
