The toilet should have been renovated to meet user friendly. The shower could only be done at the bath tube which is very very narrow and standing up on it need balancing as I said very narrow. And if one is not careful,, he could accidentally fall and to make matter worse, the glass panel at the bath tub is movable. And when one accidentally slip and trying to hold onto the panel could make one fall off far more too easily. The toilet bowl is lacking of bidet. Overall, the toilet facility is old and not user friendly.

Rooftop Bar Staff and the Consierge really saved our visit. Mixed feeling but the location was excellent, staff really tried to make up for the Hotel's Cancelation Policy shortcomings and I would definitely go back and stay here.

Hotel and staff were lovely
We stayed there twice. The first time everything was fine but the second time we arrived early with friends and our rooms were not ready. I checked on both rooms for estimated time and explained to the receptionist that we were considering leaving Bruxelles to Iceland one day (due to Icelandic Airport Strikes) early but we would occupy both rooms regardless until our flights left at 8pm because they were non refundable and I would let them know when we got the keys if we decided to do that. In the midst of our strategizing if it was worth leaving one day early, while sitting in the lobby, I accidentally canceled 1 of the 2 rooms! Mind you, both rooms were already paid days before, both were un-refundable. When we (the other couple we were traveling with) went to get the room keys, I realized my mistake when they could not see the booking and explained to the reception both bookings were there there when we had walked in earlier and again when I found in Booking app that one of them I had accidentally clicked on the wrong hotel cancellation. I insisted that the cancelation was an accident and that we were ready to take our rooms that both rooms were paid for and we did not want them refunded... we just wanted and had been waiting to occupy the rooms. There was no way no how that they let us have the canceled room. I spent 2 hours with Booking and the Reception back and forth Mediating this mess. and in the end had to pay for the room that was canceled and already paid for again a second time at a higher price! Im still very upset about this. The hotel and Booking couldn't come to an agreement for the customer and I got caught between hotel policy and a Booking operator that had no leverage. Oh did I forget to mention that we had decided to stay and see if they called off the strike...

Overall the people are very nice, the hotel is in an excellent central location and its quite clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable but, the pillows required some manipulation to make them comfortable. Once asleep I slept well and was rested for work the next day. the rooms are comfortable with the exception of the heating. I made use of the minibar to store drinks from the shop across the road. The location made it very easy to meet with colleagues and go out for dinner and a couple of drinks. Excellent hotel.
The temperature keep getting hotter through the night. I would specifically turn it down to make sleeping more comfortable and was assured that they could control each individual room from the front desk however, I repeatedly had to ask for them to adjust it. It seems that different shifts don't communicate with each other. I had to put a suit on each day for work and to attend formal meetings. The temperature made me uncomfortable. I had to resort to opening the window and taking my chances on it getting too cold rather than too warm.

The location is ideal and the staff is friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast with our omelette to order and an attractive and delicious buffet.
There were no plugs near the bed. For anyone using a C-Pap or heating pad, that requires an extension cord, but we were able to get one from engineering.

The location was fantastic. The decor was very tasteful. Staff was friendly. We liked the room, including small things that are often overlooked at other hotels such as 1) adequate shelf space in the bathroom, 2) convenient wall plugs, 3) safe at eye level instead of floor level (no need to crawl on the ground to use the safe), 4) magnifying mirror in the bathroom.
The towels were a little rough; they should have been fluffy. Annoying background music in lobby and 6th floor bar.
