Wonderful
Location was great. Had a problem with the room cleaning since the room was not cleaned when we went out in the morning. No opportunity in the afternoon already.
Timing of room cleaning.

Fair
Very central place easy to get to the main attractions.
On my first morning at breakfast, I registered my room at the desk with the waiter. Shortly afterwards, when I went to make myself a coffee, I was asked again for my room number. Later, as I went to get some breakfast, I was stopped once more and asked for my room number, despite having already provided it.
This repeated questioning left me feeling uncomfortable, particularly as I was the only person of colour in the room. My family also observed that other guests were not subjected to the same treatment. For example, one couple entered, enjoyed breakfast and coffee, and only later approached the desk to confirm their room details. This contrast made me feel singled out and treated differently.
My sister-in-law raised the matter with reception, and the manager assured her it would be investigated. However, upon departure, when my wife mentioned the incident to the duty manager, they stated they were unaware of it. While my email address was taken, no formal apology was offered.
I feel deeply disappointed that I left your premises without acknowledgment or an apology. This gives the impression that such behaviour is acceptable, which is both distressing and unacceptable. I trust you will take this matter seriously, ensure it is properly investigated, and confirm what steps will be taken to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Disappointing
I love this hotel for its location and the staff are lovely - house keeping staff are excellent.
It was so hot - miserably hot - couldn’t set temperature in room so constantly 22 degrees when it was quite warm outside. Asked for quiet room as can get noisy at front - put down the back looking at the hotel ventilation system - tried to sleep with window open - constant noise constant heat 3 nights very little sleep - couldn’t wait to get outside for air - i have stayed here many times - I love it - but we came home exhausted - disappointing.

Wonderful
Perfect location round the back of the main central area far enough away to be quiet at night as much as city centers can be anyway
Great view from rooftop bar
Some of the dark wood furniture in the rooms looking tired and in need of replacement with a more modern brighter offering
Cost of breakfast silly money considering the location to centre cafes

Wonderful
This was a quality hotel, with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The room was clean and tidy, and the TV had channels for 3 or 4 nationalities.
Couldn't fault it.

Wonderful
Located just a few metres from the Central station. Easy access from Brussels airport. Take the train from airport to Brussels Central station. Exit the train station and turn left. Walk pass Carefour express and the hotel is just a few metres from the station. It is centrally located with all the attractions within walking distance. I arrived at the hotel early and was given the room immediately. Really appreciated it especially after a 14 hour long haul flight. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Will stay there again.

The location is the best thing about this property
The manager was a little bit rude as we arrived. It was heavy rain outside when we arrived and I was eating a snack. He asked me to eat the snack outside?
The hotel is very dated. Walls are thin and we heard all sorts of things that I will leave up to people’s imaginations.

Good
Very elegant hotel in the city-centre, near Brussels Central railway station and 5 minutes away from the Grand Place. The staff delivers an exquisite service, as may be expected. But they are truly friendly and help you with a smile.
Our room had a small refrigerator, coffee and tea. However, see the more negative details.
The hotel has a rooftop bar, but it was far too noisy for me and the neon lights are quite the opposite to the otherwise extremely classic hotel interior.
The breakfast area looks magnificent!
It's a very elegant hotel, but earlier renovations seem outdated in the mean time. The bed- and bathroom are cosy and modern enough, but not really adapted to today's standards. Let me be clear, not bad at all - simply not too modern. Some examples, so you can make up your own mind :) E.g. the light switch ligths ALL the lights in the room, so no quiet sneaking to the bathroom in the middel of the night. There was only one bedside night lamp in our room and one USB wall charger. But no spare electric outlets to charge your devices, unless you unplugged a floor lamp. The bathroom was ok, you see it has been renovated (although a while ago), but there was no sufficient/decent ventilation. What bothered me most, was the 'handy' closet light that automatically switches on when you open the door. Since we always hang our clothes in the wardrobe, but leave the door open to air (both your clothes and most of the time it's also necessary for the closet itself...), here the light would have stayed on all night. So we didn't use it.
Breakfast was an elaborate 'classic' buffet, with both salty (lots of cheese) and sweet items - however, no pastries as shown on one of the pictures. Only the classic Belgian mini-viennoiserie (which, to be clear, is not the same as sweet pastries!). Warm and cold options available.
Something for everyone... unless you're a vegetarian, let alone vegan. Apart from the fresh fruit, there was absolutely nothing plant-based. Vegetarian sausages or oatmilk would have been nice - and not so difficult to find, nowadays. Another reason why I would call the hotel 'outdated'.
