Rooms were great!(small exception noted below)
Location excellent.
A few of us were unable to get hot water in showers. We just never made an issue of it, so it wasn't that hotel did not respond as I am sure they would have. Staff was great.

The location is excellent, really really central without being too noisy or crowded just outside.
It's very well maintained, and extremely clean.
We couldn't get the TV to work very well, and there wasn't much to watch anyway so we didn't use it.
The glass partition in the shower was not wide enough to keep the water inside the shower, so you had to stand very close to the showerhead and it still got everywhere.

Convenient location - very close to central brussels station.
Service was terrible - we arrived an hour early from check-in time expecting to drop our bags while waiting for our rooms. Staff seemed annoyed we arrived early, told us we couldn't check in, didn't offer us to leave our bags while we wait, and asked us to come later at 1530 (half hour after check-in time) as they were changing over staff shifts at that time. If you advertise check-in time at 1500 don't ask guests to come later just because you have scheduled a poorly timed shift change.
The hotel itself was much older than in pictures online. Stayed with a group of friends and we were all disappointed. One of my friend's room had these awful red stains that looked like blood on the carpet. Another in the group amended their stay dates by 1 less day, approved by booking.com, and was refused the refund by the hotel.
In most hotels I have stayed, you receive 1-2 bottles of fresh water per day of stay when the room is made up. I asked for this on my second day of stay and was told they only include this for the day of arrival.
Overall extremely disappointing stay and would not recommend.

The only good thing about this hotel is location, and I suspect thats the main reason for this hotel being booked.
The hotel is quite out dated, run down and old
Check in was odd, usually in almost every hotel I have stayed at they would at least process the check in/payments and then give the key cards when ready and store luggage. We were told that it would be quite busy at 3pm to check in and that we should come later, we are all already here at 2-2:30pm) which I would have thought is even more reason to start the check in process when it is less busy.
Multiple times our key card would stop working and we would need to recheck with the reception.
They would ask for an ID check each time (but frustrating if we didn't have our ID on us) had to ensure saved on phone.
Water only supplied on the first day which I felt was odd.
We had a poweroutage but bathroom only, which then proceeded to the room for 30 minutes. I had other friends staying in the hotel and they all had power so this was odd.
We had an issue with our check in dates/times and when we queried about it were told to contact booking.com who we had booked through to ask for an amendment. After a bit of back and forth with AI bots from both the hotel and Booking.com we were able to amend this through a few phone calls and we contacted the hotel regarding this to then be told they have denied it due to their policy. The most frustrating thing about it was that this was not just flat out told to us day zero instead of wasting my time for the next 4-5 days trying to contact people and being a telephone tennis ball. If you are unsure why don't you ask someone that knows.
What was worse, when we checked out early the staff asked if this had been authorised, after what had just happened and reassurance that this would be followed up/noted on the file. None of this had been done. So just empty words.
I am apalled a hotel that has a 4 star hotel rating can be this bad, and must be compensated by the sole fact that it is in a prime location. I can't imagine any other reason.

The shower was leaking, the whole bathroom got flooded, once we did checking they kicked out of the WiFi and couldn’t connect again.

Wonderful
Great location. Upscale / nostalgic vibe. Very comfortable. We loved the adjacent rooms that had a private door to the main hallway.
Wished the rooftop lounge was open in the morning for a tea / coffee with a view.
