Good location and shuttle available to the airport
The airport shuttle is on a fixed schedule. And need to be booked 12h before.
But the team is very flexible, and could make some arrangements for me last minute.

Your staff was very accommodating, professional and kind. The location for our early morning flight was exactly what we needed.
Vending machines need to be serviced. Would not accept bills and change was hard to find in the hotel.

The food was really good and the room was small but comfortable
The staff is totally unprofessional!!! I take a hotel around the airport and pay extra to be able to get a shuttle bus! The staff told me that the shuttle bus go to the airport every half an hour starting from 6:30am when I went there at 11:30 and asked for it, they told me it is only til 9:30 “sorry my colleague forgot to mention that” and they didn’t take any responsibility. I paid 35€ for a taxi bringing their price with the price I paid for the taxi, it was much better and cheaper to stay at the Shiraton !!

The bathroom was very clean and the room was comfortable.
From the dead plants at the entrance, €20 fee for checking in 90 minutes early and numerous stains in carpeting on the second floor, this did not look like a "4 star hotel."

Clean, comfortable room.
I booked this property in part because they were listed as having an airport shuttle. But when I arrived at the airport at 10pm I discovered it only ran until 8. Since many flights arrive later in the evening it only makes sense to run the service until 11 or 12.

Close proximity to airport and free shuttle services. It was remarkably quiet for being so close to the airport. Lovely rooms and good restaurant and bar. Great breakfast! Perfect property for overnight stay in Brussels especially on day of arrival or night before departure.

Room was spacious
dated rooms and hallways, beds are okay but when booking a 'superior' room , one would expect higher quality and/or comfort. all very basic and not even close to the standards you'd find in more recent Van der Valk hotels.
Breakfast was an insult, asking EUR27.50 for poorly restocked (at 8 am no bread left) , grumpy staff wasn't helpful either. Very limited choice and no staff available to cook an omelette, so bad start of the morning overall.
