Disappointing
location and rate
shower only gave steaming hot or icecold water, airco very noisy and couldn't be switched of.
8 Tesla chargers available of which only 2 could be used for other brands of cars, not mentioned on the website and I chose this hotel to charge my car during the night which didn't happen

The food was really good and the room was small but comfortable
The staff is totally unprofessional!!! I take a hotel around the airport and pay extra to be able to get a shuttle bus! The staff told me that the shuttle bus go to the airport every half an hour starting from 6:30am when I went there at 11:30 and asked for it, they told me it is only til 9:30 “sorry my colleague forgot to mention that” and they didn’t take any responsibility. I paid 35€ for a taxi bringing their price with the price I paid for the taxi, it was much better and cheaper to stay at the Shiraton !!

The inter-action between Booking.com and the hotel reservation team at Hotel Der Valk hotel at Brussels Airport has nothing short of abysmal, the conditions of my complaint is out of character for this hotel chain and the lack of accountability shared by both booking parties has been below par, I would think the Van Der Valk family would be hugely disappointed by the poor lack of integrity displayed by the hotel on this occasion. I attribute this issue directly with the hotel rather than the chain which I have always found to be nothing short of excellent and by complete contrast have just returned from an excellent stay at Van Der Valk Nivelles with 4 other colleagues. Very very disappointed
