Great central location, beautiful property, and lovely staff. We had everything we needed and there were some great extra touches like filtered water available on every floor, drinks and snacks at check in, and high quality toiletries.
We were mostly quite comfortable, but we did find the bedding a bit lacking. The mattress toppers frequently slipped off the small beds, making sleeping a bit precarious.

The location was good - easy. Walking to central train station and lots of restaurants close by
It is dated - it is quite gloomy - there was a lot of noise from outside, on arrival the lift smelled like someone had urinated and the breakfast was the worst we encountered on our 5 week trip

I know it well over the years. Great bar and public areas. Lovely staff.
I stay at The Dominican for the deco of the public areas and the location. Unfortunately, the rooms are small and dark, which takes down the attractiveness of the place. Nice for a night or two. Difficult for longer.
