The hotel is beautiful and well-maintained, the staff is helpful and polite, the location of Otrlin is good although not exactly in the center and close to transportation channels. The cosmetic products and shampoos used in the hotel are of high quality.
The hotel is an expensive upper segment hotel compared to other 5 star hotels based on daily accommodation and breakfast fee, one of the most expensive hotels in Brussels. Of course, expectations increase even more when this is the case. The guest expects some small gifts in the room, except for a small chocolate and water given every day, the guests do not encounter any nice surprises. The breakfast is definitely at the level of a 4 star hotel. Definitely do not buy extra breakfast to have breakfast with 3-4 types of cheese, a delicatessen section consisting only of pork products, no olives, cherry tomatoes, lettuce and eggs for breakfast

The hotel lobby area was impressive with pleasant decorations, seating and a grand piano.
Our hotel room was a generous size. It had a very large bathroom with both a tub and separate shower, plus generous counter space that allowed us room to have all our travel accessories easy to access.
Appeared that you could stream NetFlix and other streaming services on television, but we could not access. We asked about it. The front desk did send a technician, who told us this service did not work in our room.
Breakfast had a broader variety than many other buffets. However, the seating for breakfast seemed to be limited -- we were shown a table that felt crowded by others. Then we were told the staff needed to clear the room due to an upcoming special event which restricted our ability to have a leisurely breakfast.

Rooms were comfortable and the location was ok
My bags were lost by concierge and then due to a VIP in the building I was further delayed in my bags being returned to me (took them more than 2 hours while I was waiting in the lobby). The security of the hotel were both abusive and rude.

The hotel is elegant and great design, the room was comfortable, spacious, clean, the bed was really comfortable, with a lovely view., breakfast was superb. Great location, friendly and attentive staff.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel due to a number of issues that should never arise at a property of your standard.
The most pressing concern was the poor air conditioning system in my room. I raised the issue with the front desk and had to engage in a lengthy and frustrating conversation with the receptionist, who was neither helpful nor understanding. Even your own maintenance personnel confirmed that the air conditioning was not functioning properly and advised that I should change rooms.
To make matters worse, the receptionist blatantly lied to my face, claiming the maintenance team had reported the system was working fine. She then told me that the hotel was fully booked and refused to provide an alternative room and offered me a fan which will help to make the room cold. Only after I insisted on speaking with the evening shift manager did she suddenly offer me three different rooms to choose from. This inconsistency was both unprofessional and disrespectful.
Additionally, I did not feel welcomed by her throughout the entire interaction. Regrettably, I must say that her demeanor gave me the strong impression that I was being treated differently because of where I come from. Whether intentional or not, the interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and, frankly, discriminated against.
This experience has left a very negative impression, and I will certainly not be staying at this hotel again. I hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure better training and oversight of your staff in the future.

Good location.
I booked a Deluxe Room with a king bed, but was given two twin beds pushed together instead. This made my sleep uncomfortable and was not what I reserved. The lack of proper communication or apology was disappointing, and the experience did not meet my expectations. I’m unlikely to return to this hotel.
